Great quality and peace of mind
This monitor is awesome. The battery will last quite a few hours but I do keep it plugged in at night to make sure it stays on. Itâs loud enough to hear your little one but not too loud to disrupt your sleep. I like the temperature function so you know how hot or cold it is in the room. Camera is very sensitive and picks up sounds. Love that you do not need WiFi for this to work.

You deserve it
Itâs my first baby camera, and it did surprised me! I was awaken by the cameraâs sound detection system because of my husbandâs snoring!! The sound detection and motion detection are so sensitive, that way I donât need to worry about it when my baby comes! Itâs easy to install and the wifi connection are good. It also has the app that I can use if Iâm not around the screen. Also the night time view is clear enough for me! Anyway, itâs a good product with this price.

Very bad product. Save your money!
This is going to be a long review, but it’s extremely necessary so that others don’t go through the negative experience I had.Last year, my company gifted me the BabyMood Pro. I found the concept quite interesting and was very excited about my gift. As soon as I received it, I tried pairing the camera, and it didnât work. I contacted support, and they asked me to go through a series of steps that I had already done. Still, it didnât work. They kept insisting I was doing something wrong, but I wasnât. Even feeling uncomfortable, I had to ask my boss to return the camera and send a new one.The new camera worked; however, six months later, the power button sunk in and stopped functioningâmeaning the camera stayed on 100% of the time. The “screen time” option, which automatically shuts off the screen after a set time, also didn’t work. I reached out to support again, and they decided to send a new parent unit.Six months after receiving the replacement, the same problems happened again: the screen wonât turn off automatically, and the power button sank once more. I contacted support again, and now they told me I could buy a new parent unit because there was no warranty after one year.I decided to buy a new kit on Amazon just so I could leave a review. Surprisingly, they didnât even send the correct productânot that I cared since I was going to return it anywayâbut it just shows how unreliable this company is.In addition to the bad screen not auto-locking despite being set to do so and the sinking power button, here are some other cons:- The battery lasts less than six hours- Thereâs no clock on the monitor, which is quite strange since thatâs such a common feature- The mobile app almost never works. It takes a long time to update and display the camera image. Not to mention, sometimes it just bugs out and crashes. For this price, it’s a much inferior product compared to others available on the market! Save your money and a bunch of headaches.I also ordered another one, half of the price and with much more features! So I recommend you to look into another brands

Baby camera
Picture quality is great, everything functions perfectly and is easy to use. Main issue is the battery life on the monitor, it really doesnât last long at all. And if it starts to get low on battery it beeps as loud as it possibly can. I do believe that it is over priced due to the battery life issue and the fact that a user canât give access to another person in the app. So my husband has the app and all I get is the monitor that I constantly have to have plugged in. And temperature gauge is also wrong as we have checked but the monitor reads 6 degrees higher than what it actually is in the room. The monitor also has buttons on it to track diaper changes and feedings but they are useless when have to have it plugged in and only 1 person can get the app.

Peace of mind
I am so happy I got this, it provides a lot of comfort being able to see my baby. I use the monitor not the app. I have a hard time getting the app to work correctly. The camera just says itâs loading all the time. Iâm not sure if Iâm doing something wrong or if this is just a bug. Everything else works great but the camera not working well on the app is a big problem. The clip for the monitor only goes so far due to the fact it needs to be plugged in. This isnât an issue for me as I have an outlet right by my babyâs crib. The battery on the actual monitor screen lasts a good amount of time. I keep it plugged in when itâs in my room. The range is great on the monitor, I can go all the way to my mailbox which is about 200-300 feet away from my condo. The night vision is very clear and any movement can be picked up. I love how clear and crisp the picture is. Thereâs a bit of a lag but that was to be expected. Itâs worth the money if the app isnât that important. All you do is plug it in and connect the camera and youâre good to go. picks up all sounds which I like, I can close a door downstairs and it will pick it up. The clamp doesnât go very wide but it will fit on the bar of a standard crib. I would recommend this monitor.

Must have
Great monitor with a flexible neck, sturdy clamp and its own screen to carry around. Setup process was very easy and straightforward. I was able to get helpful customer support in the app immediately. If you use one account on the app you have four users viewing the camera. Thereâs also a feature to share a one-time code to give others temporary remote access for ten minutes. Overall, itâs a very unique camera compared to whatâs on the market and I highly recommend.

As a parent who loves to travel, finding a baby monitor that is both portable and packed with useful features felt like a dream come true. Indeed, the CHILLAX Giraffe Pro Max Baby Monito is a truly innovative and reliable option for parents on the go. After testing this product thoroughly, I can confidently say itâs worth the $250 price tag, despite being on the higher end of the market.â Super Portable Travel Baby Monitor:The first thing that impressed me was just how portable this baby monitor is. With its battery clip base stand, you can attach the camera pretty much anywhere, which is perfect for when youâre moving from hotel to hotel or even just visiting family. The 8-hour battery life ensures that you can keep an eye on your baby even if thereâs no power source readily available, and the gooseneck design makes it easy to adjust the camera to any angle, providing full flexibility.I tested this by setting up the camera in various locations: on a crib, on a nightstand, or even attached to the back of a chair. In each case, I was able to get the perfect viewing angle, thanks to the flexible gooseneck. It was simple to clip on and move aroundâa huge plus for parents who need something adaptable.â Wi-Fi Off for Privacy:One of my biggest concerns with baby monitors is privacy, especially when traveling. I love that this monitor has a physical Wi-Fi On/Off switch. I tested this feature, and when Wi-Fi was turned off, the ChillaxCare app access was temporarily disabled, but the video feed on the parent unit stayed uninterrupted. This gave me peace of mind knowing that no one else could access the camera remotely when I didnât want them to. In today’s digital age, this is a crucial feature for privacy-conscious parents like myself.â Crystal Clear Viewing:The video quality was another area that exceeded my expectations. The 5-inch Parent Unit offers a sharp 720p display, while the camera itself streams in 1080p Full HD. Whether I was in the same room or streaming remotely through the app, the picture was crisp and clear. I tested the camera both during the day and at night, and the best-in-class night vision worked flawlessly. No grainy images or lag, just a smooth, reliable video feed. The fact that the LED dimming feature prevents any distracting blinking lights was a thoughtful touch, ensuring my baby could sleep peacefully. Well done!â Smart Features for Every Need:The temperature sensor, motion and sound detection, and feeding reminders were features that I initially thought were overkill. But once I tested them, I realized how handy they are. The temperature sensor helped me ensure my baby’s room was comfortable during the night, and the feeding reminders were great during long travel days when keeping track of schedules can be tricky. These are features I didnât know I needed until I had them. Plus, I could record my own media, or play the existing “Bedtime fro sweet dreams” song.I also tested the 2-way talk feature, which came in handy when I needed to soothe my baby from the other room. I just keep the monitor on my office desk and be in control every second! The audio was clear, and the long transmission range (up to 1,000 feet) meant that I could still communicate effectively even when far from the monitor. This was especially useful in larger hotels or while staying in spacious homes.â Room for Improvement:While I loved most of the features, I did find one area that could be improved. The app only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, which can be slower and more crowded than the newer 5 GHz standard. When I was in busy areas with many devices connected to the same network, the app experienced some slight lag. Adding 5 GHz support in the future would certainly elevate the overall experience, especially for parents who live in urban areas or travel frequently. All in all, the CHILLAX Giraffe Pro Max Baby Monitor is a fantastic choice for parents who need a versatile, portable, and feature-packed monitor for both home and travel. Its flexibility, privacy features, crystal-clear image quality, and smart functions make it well worth the investment. While the app could benefit from 5 GHz support, the device as a whole delivered an excellent experience that made traveling with a baby much less stressful. Highly recommend! Great device – my rating is 4.5 stars

Honestly I cannot say that the product is not good, it just did not meet my expectation or what I was looking for but the terrible experience is their seller in UAE which is âJetsouqâ these guys made pay the courier for the return and deducted 50% of the reimbursement, a simple robbery. Be careful guys of this seller. #jetsouq #amazonuae

This is an average (or somewhat decent, depending upon what your needs are) baby monitor system (or whatever else you wanna monitor) that’s reasonably well made and works right outta box without any issues whatsoever; however, there is certain level of delay/latency for the video and the audio and it does seem choppy at best. With that being said, it does work just fine as a monitoring tool but if you want HD (even at 720p) video of the baby, well, this is NOT gonna cut it. It supports a max of 4 cameras (sold separately) should you need it.â¡ Physical buildThe physical build quality is reasonably decent without any visible defects or any other quality related issues which I occasionally find amongst products such as this. The camera is powered by the provided clamp that has a built-in battery (or a battery with a built-in clamp) and it can be changed via USB-C; however, the camera itself has a male USB-A connector ONLY without a USB-C port; not that it’d do much good anyway even if does have one since it’s difficult to make use of the camera without the cam as it doesn’t stand on its own and there is no way to orient it, even with a gooseneck, with the clamp base. Btw, the clamp base has a 3000 mAh battery (claimed). On the other hand, the monitor/display does have a built-in battery rated at 3000 mAh (claimed) and it can be charged via USB-C which I do appreciate although it’s not something to write home about at this point in time. Both the camera and the monitor/display (aka parent unit) can be used while they are being charged. The reception is average (even at close proximity to each other) in comparison to most others that I’ve come and reviewed (more than a dozen so far) so this may or may not work for you depending upon your individual needs with respect the video quality. It makes no claims to the maximum distance supported (between the camera and the monitor) but it uses the 2.4GHz band (proprietary Wi-Fi 4).Btw, it does come with 2x USB-A/C cables along with 2x USB wall chargers that have UL safety certification, which is great.â¡ OperationsThe user interface is reasonably intuitive and it’s easy to work with all the buttons and whatnot. A number of settings can be adjusted including brightness, audio sensitivity, screen timeout, multi-camera view (supports a max of 4), temp monitoring, 2 way talk, night vision, and music play etc. All of these are typical and common features that I’ve seen on other units although relatively few have the ability to play melodies etc. However, the video quality is below average in comparison to most others although it does have a 2MP camera (or so it claims). It’s also NOT clear to me what the frame rate is (most others do provide that info) and it’s NOT very high, again, based on what I’ve seen so far because the video appears to be choppy a lot more frequently than others that I’ve come across but that could also be due to poor reception. In any event, the overall video quality isn’t what I would say as being ‘good’ at this point in time. The color reproduction is reasonably decent; not great but more than adequate (not that it matters as a baby cam I suppose but it’s still good to know) but the latency issues has put a damper on things.â¡ NoteUnlike the vast majority of others that I’ve come across and reviewed, this particular one does NOT support pan/tilt and instead it comes with a gooseneck. While a gooseneck is certainly helpful in many cases, it’s not even comparable to cameras with panning and tilting capabilities. As such, I’d say this is the stripped down or lite version of those that do support pan/tilt.In addition, the monitor/display is only 720p so the quality on the parent unit isn’t exactly great although it’s still more than sufficient in most cases for baby monitoring.###I should also mention that although the buttons work reasonably well, they really aren’t the best and that’s just disappointing especially when comparing to most others that DO have much better design for the bottoms that are easier to work with and navigate etc.â¡ Other featuresIt doesn’t have any other advanced features that most others having including PTZ (panning/tilting) but it does have digital zoom although it’s not specified what the zoom level is (but I suspect it’s just 2x/3x). However, it does have features such as screen auto-timeout, timer, and 2-way talk which absolutely help (though it might not work that well for the, well, stubborn type). In addition, it does come with a gooseneck and a clamp with built-in battery that few others have (for the camera) and it’s working well given the circumstance (not counting the fact that it doesn’t have pan/tilt that is), and that’ certainly point in its favor (i.e. with a built-in battery). Last but not least, it has a kickstand as well as an external antenna for better reception like most others but the antenna doesn’t really work that well I’m afraid.â¡ ValueAll things considered, this is a somewhat decent [baby] monitor that works moderately well with an average video quality, below average display, intuitive menu, and below average reception. Some of the issues aforementioned may or may not be a concern for you depending upon your particular use case and needs; however, it does have a rather steep price of $250 and that’s at least 40-60% more dough than others with a 1080p display/parent unit AND a pan/tilt capable camera although the camera isn’t battery powered like this one is.Nonetheless, I’m not entirely certain if this is a cost effective option or even an alternative (if you are looking for battery-powered camera) given what I’ve seen thus far. Btw, the app is junk and I wouldn’t let ’em mine my precious data and possibly videos of my little one so the app isn’t even an option to me but you might feel differently about the app and the choice is of course yours. Your mileage might vary.

It’s basically garbage, it doesn’t lair with your phone, and there is a very heavy delay in the camera feed to the monitor even when they are in the same room… baby can be out of the crib and gone before this thing catches up
