Cute, but weigh them down
My golden molly fish likes to hide all day, and these were perfect for her to hide and swim around, and they catch food that falls so my dalmatian molly would eat from there. However, they would easily float up when bumped into, even with gravel packed around and on the base.

Super Cute – Don’t Swim Well
These fish are very cute. I added two air bubblers and a filter, for maximum effect. No swimming. I added salt to the water in case they would behave differently in heavier / lighter water. No swimming. So sad. With the bubblers and filter off, no change: the fish sit at the top of the tank – appearing to be in distress. Not at all zen. These fish would make excellent choke hazards for a pet or child – so be careful. Great seller! Arrived quickly!UPDATE: Used wire cutters and added a little bit of a paper clip to their bodies, to make the fish slightly heavier. That helped a little bit. Some of the fish now float slightly below the water surface. If you use with “live” fish, and can’t play with the bubblers etc. just to accommodate some plastic fish, then the artificial fish will sit at the top, which may balance out the “look” of the tank, if you have bottom decorations / rocks.Later UPDATE: After about a month, some of the fish must have absorbed some water-weight – perhaps. They are now moving around a little bit more like I originally had hoped – rather than sitting at the top. I have two bubblers going to create the “effect”.
