My mareâs rain-rot is not all gone yet but I saw some very quick results in tackling it and reducing it with 2-3 uses (1 week).Sheâs going to start loosing her winter coat which will help me treat it more.It seemed expensive to me but the powder is finer than I expected and those 3 uses didnât even put a dent in it.

When opening the package, there was powder in the bag. Further observation showed the container lid was loose snd there was not a keep fresh seal on it which allowed for the powder to leak out.

Good product
Im using this to finish healing a summer sore and its actually drying it up and my horse is not messing with it at all. Has a strong menthol smell but thats fine. I think its going to really help and i recommend it for any wound that needs to be dried up to complete the healing process. Good product!

The best stuff on the market
Once I discovered this, my life was saved! My horse gets horrible scratches, occasional rain rot, AND we ride in the winter. After months of cleaning, cream, and finally some Dex, this powder was the only thing that actually healed his scratches. Rain rot is now a 1-2 day issue instead of 1-2 weeks, and it really DOES work for drying sweat after a winter ride. It wonât dry your horse completely, but it definitely tampers the wetness and makes for a much quicker dry time under the cooler. I will ALWAYS recommend this stuff. Plus, the bottle of powder is deceptively smallâit actually lasts a decent amount of time because you donât really need that much. Strongly suggest every horse owner has this in their grooming kit!
