Great product to protect tender skin on your horse.
This is an amazing product. It really helps clear up skin issues on horse skin. Recommended by my vet and it works. It stays on even in bad weather, thus protecting the tender skin. Washes off easily with soap and water. I tried lots of other products and this one is what I decided to stick with. I bought the shampoo and powder versions as well.

Somewhat difficult to apply but works fast.
Difficult to apply as the spots need to be shaved or else hair clumps on your fingers and application does not reach the skin. Pricy. Having said that, dried up the sores from fly bites /sweet itch in 24-48 hours. Gave fast relief and I’m happy with that.

Love this stuff
Works great to stop my horse from rubbing his but hairless and raw. As soon as I put it on, he stopped scratching. I’ve used it on my dog too (although this company makes stuff specifically for dogs too), it has worked well for their hot spots and even a bee sting on one of my dogs.

Good product
I actually really like this product for cuts & scrapes. I appreciate that when it dries it creates a hardened surface to protect the abrasion. I just wish the price was better. For the size jar you get the price seems quite high.

Works well
This product helped prevent scratches this spring. I also kept my horse in a lot from the mud so that played a role too. Still, muddy legs didn’t cause scratches like usual. I would wash legs, dry them and rub it in well, applying a thick layer. It seems to provide a protective layer and dries up any fungus that starts. He did have a few scratches and this dried them up quickly. Before us using this product, he had to go on an antibiotic with all 4 legs (ankle to coronet) covered in scratches (in the fall). He was also rubbing his tail a lot (wormed regularly) and the hair was becoming a mess. I tried this just to see, rubbed it well into the top of his tail where he was rubbing and so far he has stopped. It is a bit pricy though (I don’t see a very large size either). When using it every other day on 4 lower legs it goes quickly. If you use it on smaller areas infrequently it will last a very long time. Great scent too. People at the barn have suggested trying Desitin which is much cheaper and they say works well.
