The carrier is great, the shipping was lacking.
I ordered this carrier a week before a vacation for which I could not find sufficient sitting for my parrot. The carrier arrived very quickly, in about 4 days on regular shipping, but was poorly packaged with the dishes stuck in the tray. After contacting the Bird Depot, they admitted their fault so I am writing this review on the quality of the product.It is a very well put together cage, that even being poorly packaged snapped back into shape easily, it is collapsible into a very compact form factor and is a great bargain at its price. It is well sized, the large door is great for mid-sized parrots, the dishes latch in to make sure a bird can’t toss them, the tray is easily removable to put paper on and replace with no hassle. It is perfect for not just travel with a parrot or other bird, it is also a great mobile home for them to stay in for its size, it acts as a transportable abode. Excellent quality product with great service, so 5/5, it was more than expected.

Convenient and Saves Space
I like that it can be folded up and put away until the next trip. I think my birds like being able to see out, instead of a previous carrier I used that had a mesh screen on the top & sides and was stressful to put them in it. What I don’t care for are the feed cups, since they are difficult to attach, and take up too much space. I bought smaller feed cups to hang inside.

Easy to store cage when not in use
Had purchased this carrying cage for my Cockatiel when I take her to the bird store for anytime that she needs grooming. Very nice cage that is easily stored when not in used. Well constructed and large enough for my Cockatiel. Great cage for short trips, never had the need for longer trips transporting “Freddie”, but I feel that it would be sufficient for longer trips.

Excellent travel small bird cage
I have 4 of these cages for conure sized small parrots. They are also a good size for a sleeping (night time) cage. Easy to clean, nice stainless dishes, easy to carry/transport and a reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

collapsable bird carrier
Packaging made it difficult to retrieve the bowls and the method of packaging warped the plastic catch-all; one of the cage wires was bent. It did not seem sturdy enough for my small bird and I can’t imagine it would be safe to transport a small dog or cat. I sent it back.

Perfect travel cage for 2 tiels
I needed something big enough to transport my 2 tiels and also as a sunny day cage. This cage is very well made, easy to fold down when done. I use mine almost every day to let the birds have some sunshine. It’s easy to clean and is sturdy. I like the big door and it has a good locking system, they can’t get out. Too big bar spacing for budgies, but ok for tiels or bigger birds.

A few complaints but a great carrier overall.
SIZE: This size travel carrier is perfect for my Amazon, or African Grey. My larger cat fit comfortably as well.FEEDING/WATER BOWLS: Unless I am missing something?… the feeding / water bowls are locked so tightly into place that you cannot remove them, (without unscrewing and removing the whole piece while it’s assembled in the cage). I ended up buying 2 of the acrylic bowls that have a turn, “lock – release” feature underneath the bowls, that allows for easy and quick removal.PACKAGING: The carrier should be packaged much better as many previous reviews have noted. Even though I was careful and took my time removing it from the box. It was quite difficult because it is so crammed inside. When I finally got it out, I discovered that one section was already bent and there were a few scratches and scrapes of paint missing because parts rubbed together from shipping.OVERALL: It serves it’s purpose and I also like that it has the easy to remove and clean tray underneath.
