This works ok. Nothing super amazing, but does help some. We use this in a small duck pond which gets pretty gross pretty quickly. It does cut down on some of the muck, but does not totally clear it up. There are cheaper options out there and do the same thing in my opinion.

Finally a product that cleared up our mucky/stinky pond.
I was very happy to find a product that cleared up our mucky 3,300 gallon koi pond. I have been adding dry beneficial bacteria for over a year and other products to clear my water and help get rid of the muck on the bottom of our pond. I tried ant-bacteria before and it killed all but our oldest and largest koi even though I followed the directions carefully. I put in half of the recommended dose of Muck-Off tablets and waited a few days but saw little change. I did a 50% water change and put in the other half dose, ran my canister filter with UV light 24/7, changed my filter pads and back flushed the canister frequently. In just a few days my water was now crystal clear and we could see not only our koi but even the small gravel stones on the pond floor. We also discovered 6 babies we did not know about! As a welcome bonus the stinky swamp smell was gone with the green, murky water. It has been a couple of months now and I dose the pod about every 4 weeks and it does not seem to affect my koi at all. It still looks great! GOOD BUY!

Wasn’t sure it was working in my pond..
I started using this in my 1000 gal. pond. It seems to be very slow at working. After a month, the water does look A LITTLE better. My filter needs cleaned out almost daily, so honestly not sure. I also have a 100 gal turtle tank in the house that, honestly, I’m not very good at cleaning it. She’s so messy with everything she eats. I’m embarrassed to say it got really REALLY bad. I threw a tablet in a couple weeks ago and all the turtle turds, etc are GONE! So apparently it DOES work, but just not what I’d like to see in my pond. Wish my pond had the awesome results that i see in my turtle tank
