Comfy Dog Travel Seat
I was very pleased with this item. It’s a very nice quality, soft and comfy for my Yorkie-Poo who weighs about 6.5 pounds. Her favorite place to ride has been on the console, but was very unstable there. This new carrier straps onto the console and the front of the carrier can fold over and lay down. My dog lays in the bed with her head propped up on the front so she’s cozy, relaxed and able to see where we’re going.She pretty much fills it up, though. It says it’s for dogs up to 15 lbs., but that might be a tight squeeze for a dog that size and definitely not as comfortable. It’s perfect for my dog, though!

Great for narrow space – Subaru Forester
We have a Subaru Forester and are super happy with this console car seat for our pomchipoo, Boone. He’d been sitting on my lap despite having a luxurious set-up in the back seat. And he’s anxiously panted from the beginning of car rides to the end. We needed a safe solution where he could be with us but not on top of us. He’s at the upper end of what this small car seat can handle (14″ and 14.5 lbs). And, the space between the seats is narrow – about 9-1/2 inches.We installed the car seat backwards on purpose! That way we could leave the flap open to the backseat if he decided he needed to stretch out back there. On our first trip, he spent part of the time sitting in the car seat and looking out the front window. Then he settled down, rested his head on the little dip and fell asleep! No panting the whole ride. We were ecstatic!Now, things to know (see photos): We used the carrying straps to help secure the car seat to our headrests on both sides, otherwise it didn’t seem quite secure enough for this size dog. That did the trick and the seat is very secure. It does lean a little if he leans, but it won’t fall over. There’s a strap with a clip for his harness. We wanted him to be able to go into the backseat, so we used a leash instead.The back of the carseat (which we have facing forward) seemed a little high for Boone’s chin, even with the little dip, and it’s not pillow soft. After our first ride, I made some very simple modifications. By unzipping the bottom of the carseat, I easily removed the foam, cut it to make the dip 1″ deeper and added some soft filling to make it more comfortable. I also made an extra pad to slip under the one that comes with the car seat, in case he’s still a little low, but I don’t think I’ll need it.He’s a tight fit, so don’t try the seat if your dog exceeds the manufacturer’s upper limit. You’ll just need to get a bigger car.

Comfy Seat for My New Puppy
This seat is nice and cushioned. My puppy is about 2 lbs, and this seat is smaller than expected, so I don’t think a 15 pound dog would be comfortable in this seat. I liked that it didn’t require any assembly, and the bottom straps seem very secure so the seat doesn’t move. All in all, it’s a pretty good seat.

This is amazing! My 6 lb Nia loves this! Went from a car seat to this as she loves to be close to me and loves to sight see. She is happy and content when riding and also loves to nap in here. Itâs plush, stays in place and is secure. Nicely made and looks adorbs in my car. Great purchase!

Easy to clean!
My Daisy & Bailey love this bed in the console. They are about 10-12 lbs each and both CAN fit but it’s awfully tight. They usually take turns. (We bought this before adopting our second pup.) It fits one small dog perfectly. It does not interfere with being able to open the console (with her out of it, of course) and fits perfectly between the seats with no falling.The BEST part is that it is completely washable because of how it’s been sewn with zippers! You are able to completely take out all of the foam and padding by unzipping the different parts. This was very helpful after a trip where Daisy got sick in it and I had to wash the entire bed. I thought it was going to be far more difficult to clean but it was so easy!

Console Seat for Small Dog
I was hoping for a secure stylish console seat for my 7 lb toy poodle. The color (black) was perfect. When I tried to install it, the Velcro straps were too long and not enough male/female to make it tight enough not to slip around. The sides were a bit flimsey and my dog was all over the place and not secure.I had high hopes for this seat, itâs very attractive. Iâm sure this would be a good fit for a larger dog and a larger console. I have an Acura RDX if that helps.

Love this dog seat!
I purchased this after a particularly challenging road trip with our dog. I realized she needed her own, safe space when she was in the car with us and could no longer ride on my lap. I was nervous that she would be ok riding in it bc I have tried other âdog seatsâ and sheâs hate them. But she has no issues with this one! She was so calm and happy she fell asleep the very first time we used it. For reference, sheâs a 7.5lbs Morkie and she fits very comfortably with room to spare. I will also add, installation is extremely simple. The seat can easily go on and off when weâre not using it but stays firmly in place when we are. It also seems to be made of very durable material. I would 100% recommend it!

This car seat does not work on the console of either my 2024 Mazda CX-30, or my husband’s 2009 Subaru Cross Trek. Even if we could secure it, I cannot see how it could possibly be safe in any vehicle! As for the size, our little shih tzu is about 11 pounds, and it is a good size for her. We are currently using it in her stroller, as it fits there perfectly.I do not recommend this product as a car seat!
