Tough
I don’t what in the blue blazes some are saying about cheap lock latches or it will break if extended. Yeah maybe if you’re using it to lift up your car but this thing I assure you is plenty strong . Feels heavy duty. I would know cheap and under engineered and this isn’t. Nice quality . I give it a thumbs up.

Sturdy – Good Strength
Bought this and I dont understand how people bend it. Its super sturdy, I speared a dozen carp from shore today with no issue.
Likely buying another, this is perfect for spear fishing and has great strength.

Awesome reach
Took this out twice and speared 7 fish. It didnât take long, either. Part of that was post-spawn fish that werenât as energetic as usual, but equally important was the reach of this bad boy. Incredible!
Others said theirs collapsed, but I havenât had that happen yet. Maybe itâs because Iâm spearing 3-6 lb freshwater fish and not trying to drive them into the center of the earth.
I will say that the thinnest section, close to the head, is a little flimsy. Also, the little rivet holding the female threaded section (where the spear head screws in) is wobbly after one use. Thatâll end up having to be replaced Iâm sure.
Also, Iâm thinking some thread lock is a good idea for the spear head. I already had a fish or two twist enough to back the threads out a bit. Made me leery.

junk

made from thin tubing.
Good design just wish it was made from a little thicker gauge tubing. I have 3 that I use for flounder gigging, one bent & broke the others are holding up.

It has arrived!!!
It lives up to it’s name! It is useful to the carp and large frogs here. The carp especially have some fight, and the barbs on the spearpoints are effective in keeping them on the spear to be retrieved. Great value and, so far, very durable. The length is appropriate for reaching out 10+ feet. Great for use in a narrow channel or small creek.
