Fits our large cat well
To appreciate this product, you should know our cat isâ¦Rubenesque. Heâs stately. Heâs in shape⦠if you consider âroundâ a shape. He has gravitas.Sadly, he also has some off-putting habits such as wantonly clawing up the carpet at the bottom of the stairs, and scooting his bottom across the rug, using our house furnishings as toilet paper while making awkward, prolonged eye contact.So we made an alcohol-fueled decision to purchase a cat onesie after a family discussion about his failings and the need to bring a modicum of humility to his outlook. This item has fit the bill admirably. The XL size fits our XL cat well; the sizing seems true. And it snugly encases the cat, seemingly bringing a sense of serenity (or possibly searing shame) that renders him immobile. When wearing his onesie, he will stay in any position heâs put in, even on his back. Eventually heâll limp off (itâs unclear why he limps; heâs uninjured) to the dogâs bed, which he has designated as his own, and will lay like a lichen until the suit is removed.As post-op equilibrium I cannot rate this item. As an instrument of wholesome household discipline, I give it five stars.

Well made – perfect for multiple situations to prevent licking wounds etc.
I purchased this recovery suit for my cat who is battling an aggressive type of cancer that develops a large tumor growing multiple lumps above the skin. This worked perfectly to stop her from licking. The lumps are above her tail so the design easily covered where it was needed and the closure kept it secure enough to prevent her from pulling it open. The opening below the tail made it easy for her to use the litter box.Really cute design and soft stretchy material. It is also easy to put on and take off. Washes well and air dries quickly.We tried several other designs but this was by far our favorite and best match for our situation. I would expect it to be perfect for after surgery as well.All of them seem to run small. Our cat is not real big (9lbs) and we needed the large.Definitely recommend.

Restricting sleeves
It helped by keeping my cat from being able to reach his stomach. the arms were a little restricting due to the sleeves. He was way happier with this than the cone.

Adorable, but has design issues
This is adorable, BUT, it lacks a proper space for the kitty’s backend. It’s too small to allow elimination without soiling the onesie. It should be designed so that the back legs have loops to hold in place, but not cover the backside. I purchased to keep my young mama kitty from licking her spay sutures, but it proved difficult to get on her while she was awake. If this had been designed with a more appropriate backend opening, I would have asked the vet to place on her, while she was still sedated.

Works BEAUTIFULLY – also as a kitty diaper âOnesieâ
My older arthritic cat has incontinence problems because of severe hip arthritis -We use this âkitty Onesieâ to keep his diaper from slipping off as hi moves – – ( his back legs slip )This Surgical Recovery/Onesie is Perfect – / for covering wounds ( he did have one, once, also) and, keeping on slipping-off diapers

The cats don’t seem to mind it and it’s ADORABLE
The kittens don’t seem to mind it after getting spayed, and it’s ADORABLE. It’s a lot looser than the bodysuits with leg cutouts. They hated the constricting bodysuits, which didn’t let them move their limbs properly. They kept fighting out of them. As soon as I put these onesies on, they calmed down. It’s loose around their joints and the sleeves are the perfect length. The neck hole looks small but is extremely stretchy. They only slipped a leg out of the sleeves a few times, but it was easy to squeeze it back into place. No problems with using the litter box. The onesies are basically like pajamas. They shrank a little in the wash but it’s adjustable so that wasn’t a problem, especially since it’s temporary. I would have hated to keep them in those uncomfortable bodysuits for 2 weeks.Plus, the wiener dog pattern on a cat 😉
