Works great
This works great and recommend it to anyone who has a dog or cat. I saw this on a you tube channel called “girl with the dogs” who is a dog groomer and she recommended it. Im glad I got this. My dog likes it too!

The absolute best brush
Before this I had an undercoat rake brush for my black lab. It got a lot of hair up but it also gave her a lot of dandruff and I had to be really careful about overbrushing. But this equigroomer is so amazing, it does not touch their skin so it’s pretty much impossible to overbrush and it doesnt give her dandruff, it actually takes away her dandruff. It’s amazing for removing undercoat, dead skin/fur, dirt. I’m so glad I finally got this, its going to make shedding seasons so much easier. My dog is a 60lb purebred black lab and I got the larger one and I think it was the right choice for her, it covers a very large area to cut down on brushing time. The amount of hair in the pictures is after about 25 minutes of brushing, but I could have kept going and removing more hair if I wanted, and it wouldn’t have damaged her fur or skin

Gets rid of surface fur/dander without tugging or irritating bumps in skin
Works as advertised. My dog tends to grow benign cysts so sometimes is bothered by more invasive brushes. This does a good job of a first run to get rid of dead fur and skin cells. I can see the difference in how neat his coat looks afterward. Another detangling brush or undercoat rake is still needed, but this does a great first pass of the external fur. It doesn’t necessarily shorten grooming time, but I think with another tool it elevates the end result and keeps the dog looking less disheveled for longer.

5/6 Cats approved!
I have 6 cats. Yes 6! 5 of them love the equigroomer and would not let me stop. It does exactly as it says it will and did not disappoint me. It is quality, easy to use, a great size and the handle is easy to grip during use. It is also a cinch to clean.I have short, medium and long haired cats and it works for all. I saw an amazing difference in coat shine and health after just the first use. They all reacted as though a mother cat was bathing them because the teeth are roughly the texture of a cat tongue. My medium haired cat would start nipping at me when I stopped to collect the hairballs coming off his coat.It is a messy job and will make a hairy mess so do it in the bathroom or be prepared to vacuum, dust, lint roll etc wherever you choose to use this tool. It is well worth it!The only cat who rejected this tool is a short haired tabby who was bottle fed from infancy and does not know the joys of being groomed by his mother (I used a little tooth brush when he was little but it is not the same). He is my grumpiest cat so I was not surprised he hated it. He also does not shed or dander like the others and doesn’t really need it.Finally it is worth mentioning that I tried it on my suede-ish couch and it works! It is not as good as a vacuum but it did take most of the fur off without damaging the upholstery.

Best Deshedding Tool I’ve Used
This thing is awesome! It’s smoothly gets out the fur, doesn’t pull. It is by far the best brush I’ve used for shedding. I have an100lbs 6yr old male German Shephard who has never liked to be brushed because most brushes would pull out good fur along with the dead. This one does not do that, and he seems to enjoy it. Very happy with my purchase. This will be the only deshedding tool I will use from here on out. Definitely recommend.

Works OK
It strips some of the hair but not as much as a regular curry comb and is not economic for your hand or wrist. I think I’ll go back to the old school curry comb.

It works well!
It works well. I usually use the nubble gloves on my horses when they are blowing their winter coat and I still do use them, but I thought I’d this deshedding brush as well for a change of pace. It really works well. Both my horses seem to like it too and will stand still without being tied up. This is a plus. You just have to be careful not to dig in too hard since the brush is a thin metal and could scape if you press too hard. I would highly recommend this.

I’ve been singing this little comb’s praises since I got it. My black cob mare is the dustiest horse on the planet and refuses clipping, but daily use of this groomer removes all the rolled in dirt and old hair with ease. Her coat is so shiny and healthy and she absolutely adores it too!

The product does help with shedding, however itâs gotten blunt and rusty very quickly unfortunately!

I got this for my golden retriever who has long fur. When i received the product, i was a bit disappointed because it looked like simple tool made of wood with metal teeth.Surprisingly, it is really effective at removing dead hair from my dog, it is really gentle and doesn’t pull on his fur either.

My horses get a decent winter coat, and this tool works better than anything else I’ve tried for shedding it out.
