Purchased a silk orchid to place in the vase – the person who I gifted it to has a cat, so nothing live, which could be toxic if the cat ate the plant. The silk orchid was also purchased on Amazon, “MyGift Decorative Artificial Silk Phalaenopsis Orchid Flower with White Vase, Purple $11.99” I had to do some cutting of the orchid’s base to fit in the glass vase and glued some artificial moss to it to cover what I did. Added some pebbles to the base as well, which came with the orchid. And my friend absolutely loves it.The cat stand is sturdy. It is made well. It’s a decent size, prefect for placing on a window sill, or table top, etc. since it doesn’t take up much room at all. But it adds a nice touch to the area in which it is placed.
