Beautiful. Fun. Great quality. Nice gift.
It’s beautiful. I like the size. I like that it looks and feels high quality. The glass is very clear and not thin. I like the addition of the point in the middle and the vent holes. The base is substantially weighted and not flimsy. I do wish that the base had some rubber or felt feet under it because it can scratch surfaces that it rests on. I did add felt feet that I already had in my drawer. This would make a great gift right out of the box or as a filled terrarium with plants. I think it’s worth the money because of the design, function, and quality. I think it can be educational for kids and adults to learn about taking care of living things. I had fun with it, and my family likes to watch the springtails run around the terrarium. I had fun making my terrarium. I think it will keep my moss, lichen, and springtails healthy.I’ve never made a fancy terrarium. I made a couple of plastic ones with old plastic containers and some plants and moss that I found outside. I had a lot of the supplies already from my isopod hobby. I had to get different kinds of moss and lichen. I didn’t have any small plants that could fit under the glass or that would work for a closed terrarium. I wanted a closed terrarium that would accommodate my yellow albino springtails. They like humid environments. They eat mold and will help keep any potential mold from taking over my terrarium. They eat a lot of other things like rotting wood. Around once a week, I prefer to give them food like nutritional yeast, baker’s yeast, or isopod food such as Repashy Morning Wood. I don’t wan’t to open the terrarium more than needed because springtails can jump, and I don’t want them jumping out.I looked up how to make a terrarium on YouTube. I found a Serpadesigns video with a soil recipe and the steps to build a small terrarium. He has a few videos about terrariums. I got lichen and moss from a seller on Etsy. It’s best to use only pure distilled water or rain water to use in this terrarium if it has sensitive plants or organisms in it.

Wonderful!
This is a nice little terrarium, with small enough plant(s), some moss or grass variant, and other natural accessories, a wondrous little world can be created. It is well made, the cover and the base fit together very well, and includes a rubber strip to place in between the two to create a seal with guidance on getting a good fit.It includes more instructions than I expected, and they are helpful. It does not include type or amounts of soil, gravel, and more most likely because this will vary based on the plants you choose. There is plenty of information on the internet about this.It also may make great home for an African Violet, but I would need more info on how to make that work. The base is a soft matte green, the glass clear and it looks hand blown and I really like the dip made in the glass at the top. I wouldnât like it as much without it. The glass has two holes with translucent plugs, which are not obvious, it took me a while to notice them, and they will be even more subtle if removed. They are for air circulation, and, I believe, necessary if used with plants. This is a little bit of nature where you need it indoors that takes a bit of creativity or work at the beginning and almost no work to keep. It would be great in a work from home space. Or office space if allowed.I may return to get the tall one, I think it could create a completely different effect. This is a small item that can show off your creativity and add beauty to your surroundings.

Cute and Simple Terrarium
If you are looking for a simple terrarium, or if you are just starting out and want something small, this one is a nice choice for beginners. I love that the base is very heavy and sturdy. It’s definitely good quality. The glass top is also thick and made well. I like that the two little holes have plugs so that you can control the humidity without having to remove the top. Just be aware of the size – part of the fun of terrariums is experimenting with small plants and really building a little tiny world for a cute little gnome or fairy statue, or even some small bugs. The white color goes with anything. The base is nice and deep enough for some sand, soil, and pebbles. Overall, the functionality is great and like I said, perfect for beginners. Not a bad value for the money either given the overall quality of it. Would definitely recommend.

A new adventure for a plant lover!
I have houseplants all over my home. I have plants all over my small patio. I have an orchid shelf taking up a lot of space in my den. But this is my first terrarium and Iâm excited to get started,This a well made little terrarium. It comes with a rubber strip to anchor the glass top to the sturdy ceramic base. Included is a sheet of tips to help you get started. And because itâs small, it could adapt to most any room and could easily sit on a desk or bookshelf. While this is an addition to my many houseplants, this terrarium would make a terrific gift for someone who likes plants but doesnât have time or interest to provide a lot of care. Because the terrarium provides a closed environment, maintenance after set up, should be minimal.I have several small orchids that havenât thrived with my current orchid set up. This terrarium will give me the opportunity to see if other conditions will stimulate growth. Iâm anxious to find out. I already had a small plant light that fits nicely with the terrarium. Now all I have to do is decide which orchid will get a new home!
