I was looking for a small dog car seat. This product covers safety, and a booster seat so my dog can look out the window. East to install in the car.

Does not work with seatbelts with integrated shoulder straps.
First of all, the seat is well built, soft yet supportive and relatively easy to use. Unfortunately, I want my dog in the front passenger seat instead of the middle of the backseat, which is apparently where it is designed to go. My front seatbelts are the shoulder strap type, and this unit will not work with that configuration. I solved the issue with the JAKAGO 61″ Replacement Shoulder Strap, Padded Long Duffel Bag Strap Universal Adjustable Shoulder Belt with Non-Slip Pad from Amazon and wrapped it around the seat back. I probably couldâve got away with a shorter strap, but I wanted to make sure I had plenty of length.

I have a Westie, 15 pounds and this car seat is perfect for her. She is elevated enough to see out side window and front dashboard. Side pockets are great for storing her leash and small treats

Sturdy, safe, well made!
Finally a doggy car seat high enough our little guy can see out the car window. Yet it has a nice bed well he can snuggle down in to nap. I do line it with towels for easy cleanup, as our guy is a major drooler when traveling. I also like that it has two clips to attach to his harness, as it stabilizes him when he sits up to look out.
