Curved Scissors ideal for doggy face trimming
The curve of the scissors and the blunt end make it easy to shape facial hair on doodles. The comb wasn’t strong enough to get through really curly doodle hair. I don’t know how to use the thinning shears so I don’t have an opinion on those.

Great tool for in between grooming appointments
I was looking for something to shape up my dogs face in between grooming appointments. It needed to be sharp so I could make quick cuts because my dog moves alot. So far, this set is perfect. It arrived as promised and comes with a nice case for storage. I was able to cut away dark hair from around his eyes and mouth. This is a must have if you want to keep your dogs face groomed.

Efficacious for my cat
My cat gets sores on his body from having FIV (feline immunodeficiency) and accompanying autoimmune syndrome. I need the hair out of the way to get ointment on his sores. The scissors here are great for that; with the little bit of asymmetry it’s easier to clip his hair while holding him. The hair is trimmed nicely and accurately, no longer blocking the bulk of the ointment in fur.My little guy is doing great and everything, we just stay on top everything quickly. I’m glad we tried the scissors out; they make it easier to take care of him. I’m positive he appreciates things getting done much more quickly with the easy access to treating the sores with ointment.I’ve no idea what I’ll do with the other items that came. They look nice and solid.

The curved scissors were great, not too big and they were sharp.The comb is strong, very useful.The thinning scissors were not the best, as soon as I opened them to cut, they got stuck and I couldn’t make a ‘cut’. Eventually I forced them closed and did some cutting with it but they felt very ‘jarring’ when in use. Not too upset about only spending around $15 on the set.
