Just right!
I got this for the 2 gallon guppy bowl that sits on my coffee table. It has an automatic timer option so you can easily set it to come on and go off automatically. Mine is set for 10am-10pm. It is easy to attach and stays in place even if I bump it during partial water changes. The neck easily adjusts. The only problem I have is the plants grow so well that each week I have to remove half the floating plants and give them away. I suppose I could cut down on the hours of light, but the lit tank is so pleasing to see. I think the guppies enjoy it too.

Very nice for fish tank
Love this light. I use it on a very small fish tank. Very easy to set up. The timer helps so I don’t have to remember to turn on and off. Love the different color lights, although I pretty much just use the white light. You can also dim the light.

Nice lil lamp
(Excuse my dirty tank) I bought this lamp and a cheap-rectengular clip-on lamp as well. The rectangular was arrived broken so I returned it. This lamp though; unfortunately it doesn’t work well for my current setup & plant needs. Overall though I’m still keeping it. I returned the rectangular lamp that wouldn’t stand up, & the screws holes where the clip has screws to hold onto the glass where stripped. That lamp was larger, $15 & even the clip was flexible so when the screws did work, the clip bent. This is a smaller lamp but none of those issues exist. I even took the one screw from this lamp & got the broken one kinda working. Which ended up being tbe deciding factor to me returning it. It works as advertised & is overall convenient. If your rim is maybe over an inch thick it might be tight with the clamp. If you’re trying to save on cash, I’d recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for
13 bucks for a light with a dimmer and timer? Yes, please. Only had it about a week but so far it’s been great. I use the 12 hour timer and it’s so nice to have automated lighting now on my smallest tank. Less than half the price of what I’ve found at all the local fish stores. Love that it’s USB as I’ve got more than enough standard plugs for all my tank accessories, this is also so much easier to plug in for achey hands.
