EXCELLENT product for keeping puppy out
We just recently adopted a puppy who is very curious about our 2 cats. We looked around for something to keep doors open enough to allow the cats to come and go from rooms, but keep the puppy out. This is the PERFECT product for that. Very easy to install in less than 30 seconds and works very well keeping the puppy and cats away from each other until we can get all the pets better acquainted. Can also see that these latches could easily be used for infants as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Better for Cats
I love this product. I’ve bought three sets and every room in my house has one. I’ve got my mom to buy some. It gives my cats the ability to roam room to room at night without having to get up and let them out. If you don’t use the door jamb than sometimes they get stuck in a room for a few hours. The length is adjustable which is a bonus for doors in weird locations where you need the extra length.Unfortunately, I have a 65lb dog who can Superman her way through these when she wants something. It rips the latch off the wall, as well as the paint. My landlord is gonna be thrilled when they see the damage. Still, I’m disabled, so these are way cheaper and more convenient than child gates. You can buy replacement 3m strips and just slap it back on the wall where there has already been damage. Good as new.8/10, will buy again. Even when removed properly, they still do some damage to the paint (but then again, I live on an Army base so it could just be housing being cheap on yet another thing.)

It can’t take the pressure
Within one hour of installing the device this clip broke. The door was opened and when the door was pushed the clip broke and the strap came out of it.We contacted the seller and they were fantastic and sent us a replacement.The way it is designed you have to remove the 3m taped section and install the new one. That was fun trying to not destroy the door as the sticker works very well.Upon putting up the replacement the second one broke and the exact same place. Right in the center of the clip where the strap connects to it. The first time I would just consider that maybe bad luck but the second time I will consider it a pretty significant flaw. So if your child is going to push on the door this is not the device..
