High Quality Pet Door
Great pet door! Straight forward installation.It is the only one I found that was made of metal. It is solid, well made. I put it in for our cats to access the sunroom porch. I could have used the small size, but went with the medium since there is a chance down the road these guys could become real loads from the way they eat!!Great paint finish on the frame. It has 2 door flaps with a magnet on the bottom to keep them in place. They work well. I slid the magnets off of the bottom of the flaps so there is a little less resistance while the cats became accustomed to the new door. The magnets slide right back on. Great product!

Great quality and design
This is a well-designed, high quality pet door. It is a refined version of the traditional pet door and compared with similar-looking products, there are notable differences in the details. As other reviewers have noted, it works great and is easy to install. The template is exacting so if you want an easier install cut around the outside of the line.What I liked:- Stainless steel frame. Won’t rust or crack, and the white enamel coating appears durable.- Thick transparent (but not clear) vinyl flaps with removable magnets. The sides are felt-lined making a good seal. My bengal cats love being able to see through the flap. Since I could temporarily remove the magnets and either of the flaps, training was a breeze.- Design of the lockable panel. The black handle looks nicer than other models and the lock is more discreet. The spring bearings in the side channels hold the panel snugly so the panel doesn’t rattle when the door is opened or closed.- Designed for quality. The fit of all the parts seemed perfect, and the package even included a tube of sealant which I thought was a nice touch. This pet door didn’t seem cost-reduced to the absolute minimum which I have experienced with other products.What could be improved (all minor):- Larger screw holes or adjusting slots, and better screws. The holes in the panel are just big enough for the screws. It installs fine but there is no room to square up the panel before tightening. And for some reason the supplied screws didnât grip the screwdriver tightly making them hard to tighten when screwing into hard wood.- I wish the flap was a bit more flexible so the kittens would have an easier time going in and out. Silicone?- Truly hidden fasteners for a more built-in look. It may not be possible to redesign the door without reducing reliability or increasing the cost, but it would be nice to have.Shopping for pet doors is a bit like shopping for a mattress; not something you do very often and there are many variations of what appear to be the same product at first glance. Overall, I was impressed. If you’re looking for a refined version of a traditional pet door and donât need a middle flap for extreme weather, I think this model is a good choice.

Solid cat door
I recently moved to a new house and needed a way for my cat to have access to an uninsulated breezeway from the garage to the house (thatâs where his litterbox and food/water were going to be. Although technically the cat door wasnât needed to go outside, I still wanted one that was insulated so the cold air from the breezeway wouldnât penetrate into the insulated house. I chose this one due to the positive reviews and how sturdy/easy to install it was supposed to be. After receiving it, I will say I am impressed by how solid the unit is. It is made of metal which will be sturdy and hold up to the cat using it. The installation went well; the only hiccup was the instructions said to use a much larger drill bit than needed for my solid core door. Luckily, I measured a drill bit against the size of the included screws and that worked well.The double flaps are supposed to be helpful for insulation. They are bendy plastic with magnetic strips on the bottom to help click them back into place after use. They are a bit stiff out of the box and my small to medium sized cat had some trouble initially pushing against it to open it (heâs only three-legged, which probably makes it harder) but he figured it out fairly quickly. The flaps seem to get stuck outward due to the insulating strips on the sides of the openings. Iâm hoping that over time, it will work itself out and function more smoothly.Lastly, the locking panel to keep the door closed is solid metal and very sturdy; it clicks into place nicely. Overall, I am satisfied with this cat door and it has served its purpose.

Awesome doggy door. Easy to install, perfect size for my heeled. Magnetic doors are easy for the dog to open but also strong enough to stay in place. One size dark to help keep out extra light. Metal insert to close when you donât want the dogs in or out. Highly recommmed.

We had been keeping our cats litter box in the laundry room, but hated the feeling of litter on our feet every time we walked in so we decided to move it to the garage! This pet door worked very well! We had to use the entire length of the pet door, but it fit perfectly! The instructions were easy to follow and the template made installation a breeze! The hard part was everything else in our project! But overall the door is built very well and we are very happy with it so far! We also really like that itâs easy to remove the door flaps if necessary because our cat did not like the flaps AT ALL! Overall, great purchase!

I am incredibly happy with this pet door! Both a raccoon and a stray cat were able to break through the plastic door panel of my previous pet door. Several sleepless nights ensued while I built obstacles in front of our door and jumped at every sound. This was the only pet door I found with a locking metal panel the local wildlife can’t break through!The peace of mind is immense. I highly recommend. It was easy and straightforward to install and very solid.
