I buy these for bluebirds, but it seems all birds love them. I used to put them out whole, but so many birds eat them that I now have to crush them a bit & add them to a seed mix I make so the 5lbs last a month.Great worms. The birds thank you.

Love it when mealworms come boxed with an inner bag that prevents the mealworms from getting crushed. It will take a few weeks for the bluebirds to eat 5 lbs, so the resealable bag will keep the meal-worms fresh. Speaking of fresh, there is no strong or odd odor, and the mealworms look perfect.Great price. Mealworms cost more than soldier fly larvae, but the eastern bluebirds in my yard just wonât eat soldier fly larva (I tried a few brands a couple of times).
