Perfect for my 67 gal vivarium!
The quality, colors, and amount of this moss and leaflitter (bark) is great. And the woodsy smell is very fresh and inviting. Overall this product is affordable and sufficient for my 67 gal vivarium. I will definitely do business with this company again!

Ehhhhh itâs ok
This package of stuff was so small and wouldnât be enough for my tortoise. Definitely not worth the money. Ended up returning it.

Good quality moss and bark. Looks lovely in my fire skink’s exclosure.
So far, I’m quite happy with this reptile substrate. The moss is a lovely natural green coloration, and comes apart in nice, even clumps. It’s non-dusty, and doesn’t fall apart. The moss is very compacted, so you get more than it looks like initially. The chunks of bark look nice, and are a reasonable size.I was a little shocked to see that the moss and bark arrived seperate, rather than as a mix like the product photos imply. For me this ended up being a pro, however, as I can still mix the moss and bark together myself, but it also makes it easier to use them seperately for adding accents to my pet’s enclosure, such as draping moss over his corkbark hides. If this product has one flaw, I do wish the ratio of moss and bark was more even. By volume, you receive significantly more moss than you do bark.I do feel like this product is of good quality, and you receive quite a lot of substrate; I’m using it to add variety to my pets’ existing substrate that uses coconut coir as a base, so I have more than enough, but you might need a few bags for a 20-gallon breeder tank, depending on what species you’re keeping. This product is a bit on the high end price-wise for the amount of substrate you receive, but I’ve certainly seen worse, and I like that this product seems to be free of dust and debris. I’d likely use it again if I could get a deal on it.

Happy Tortoise!
I have to bring my Red Foot in for winter for now and this bedding mixed with her regular substrate made her very happy.

Sophie Loves it
My Crested Gecko âSophieâ loves it. I ordered Qty 2 and it was just enough for her Lrg terrarium.

Difference of opinion
My turtle did not like or approve of my decision to add moss. She shoved the moss into a corner and refused to come out of her home for 1 week. The product itself is fine, but I should have discussed with my turtle before changing her bedding to add moss.

Building an outdoor enclosure for my box turtle.
I am trying to make the ground cover for my outdoor enclosure for my box turtle as natural as possible. This reptile substrate is one of the materials I use.
