Fresh and quality cuttings
So far, this brand has not disappointed me. My chinchilla and holland lop love the sturdiness of this first cut with plenty of nutrition on them. While I do not eat hay ( lol) I can tell they give this brand a repetitive paws up and they go to town once i give them a bundle . Looks very healthy ( no brown pieces ) and packed nicely in a reusable box that looks nice among their other cage supplies and food. I use to have to place on a better looking container with holes but it is nice not having to worry about it. It is a good idea to open the box right so to keep it stored once closed. These guys are high maintenance cage cleaners and supplies so every little bit helps !

The company reached out to me and offered me a refund. I asked them to send me fresh hay and they did!! The next box was perfect. Great job making this right!I have bought this hay in the past and it was green and fresh. This batch was dry and brittle. Waste of money…

Pig Pig Loves!
Pig Pig the Guinea Pig gives 5 star, 2 thumbs and lots of squeals over this! Only issue is it’s a little dusty.. I’ve only bought this 2 times, this is my second time around, first box lasted us well over 2 months. This second box was a little moist feeling and the top layer was a little brown and old looking but overall so far my pig loves it!This seems to be better quality than Walmart’s Hay and it last WAY longer even though both are the same amount/weight. Walmart brand is always full of moss, (Spanish Moss) and its literally left over junk but was cheaper than Tractor Supply at the time. Now that I found this, I don’t plan to go back to Walmart OR Tractor Supply ($25+ for 6lbs!)

Came quick, Guinea pigs Don’t Like
Got this thinking my picky Guinea pigs would like it. I have 3, and unfortunately neither one of them much care for it as it has more thick coarse sort of grass in it that they just don’t like. They eat the hay and alfalfa parts which doesn’t seem to be alot in it?Perhaps it’s just because mine are picky.Came quickly and on time.Smells great like fresh cut hay. Size is great for the price and definitely would last quite some time.

I’ve tried so many different kinds of hay for our guinea pigs, but this one smells so good it makes me want to eat it. If your guinea pigs like the flower part, there are tons of them in this. This isn’t the hay you open up and it’s all brown and crispy looking like it was sitting there for a year. This stuff is fresh and smells green and fresh.

Rabbits refuse to eat this stuff
While the packaging is well made and the hay looks clean cut, most of it was a strange color (like grayish) with a stale odor and neither one of my rabbits will touch it.We had previously been using Oxbow Timothy hay and they gobbled it up but I was looking for something else with less shake and this product (via packaging description in photos/reviews) âlookedâ like a better quality product. But if my buns wonât eat it⦠like at all, then what does that tell You? Something is off. Canât return or get a refund thanks to seller/amazon policy so Iâm stuck with it.

Poor Packaging
The hay is good; no complaints there. The hay is always fresh.The issues I have with the hay are this: It comes in a box, so the hay leaks out of the box and into the floor, making a mess. Also, there is a lot of hay dust and fine hay that’s unusable, so it’s not a good value.
