This is a fantastic remote training collar.
The E-Collar technologies mini educator is a wonderful training tool. This is a reliable e-collar offering very adjustable, precise electric stimulation and vibration. Be sure you slowly introduce this tool to your dog, and consult with a professional if you are unsure of how to effectively and humanely use this to work with your dog. This particular model looks cool, but more importantly I find that the remote is set up to be very easy to use. There is a light (flashing or steady) that you can illuminate via the collar for nighttime use. The unit comes with long contact points for longer-haired dogs and with regular/short ones for shorter coats. The vibration is a great way to “warn” your dog to stop doing an unwanted behavior. The shock/stimulation itself is very adjustable (0-100) and dogs learn quickly while wearing this. This e-collar is a great unit for reinforcing good obedience when paired with positive reinforcement (“good boy/girl” and petting as reward) though the unit comes with a clicker too. This is a reliable and well-made unit!

Excellent tool when used properly
Properly researched, understood and applied this is an excellent tool. Contrary to popular belief e-collars do not zap your dog, they deliver a pulse exactly like a TENS unit you may have used for injury or back pain. The range on this particular model is wide and has combination options. My dog responded at barely a perceivable pulse. I put it on myself first.Also I went to a trainer to learn how to use it properly. You donât just put it on the dog and crank it up. The dog needs to learn the way out so he can choose to alter his behavior before being corrected.I live on acreage and can now walk my dog off leash (at home only) without him chasing a car, truck, delivery van, rabbit, cat or other wildlife.The battery life is excellent, Iâve only charged it 3 times since purchasing it.

Fantastic when used correctly
Our dog is in obedience classes and our trainer recommended this particular collar for our VERY high energy rescue terrier. She is very prey driven and would attack our cats. She would also go after other dogs while leashed. After a few classes with the collar we still use it but hardly turn it on. It doesnât hurt the dog but works as a diversion on fixated behavior. We are very pleased. Charges quickly. Easily adjustable for when light or stronger distraction is needed.

When used right this is very effective
Iâve never been a fan of these types of collars, but when we put our Rottweiler in training, he definitely needed it. I tried it on myself just to see whether or not there was pain. I put it on a much higher level than our trainer uses on a Rottweiler. It has helped curbs so many habits such as walking on a leash and quickly obeying commands. We are still working on him and chasing cars and that has been a little bit of a challenge but weâve only been using the collar two weeks. You can keep it on a very low vibration and all it does is distract your pet from whatever is the problem. Be sure to read the instructions thoroughly or have a trainer show you how to use the collar properly. I would also recommend a slip leash to use with the collar giving you more control.

My dog and I really needed this. It has changed our relationship. Any e-collar must be used wisely and not emotionally! I am hesitant to recommend e-collars for this reason. But we needed this and it works well. The challenge… if you are good at rubic’s cubes or or are a rocket scientist, learning the permutations for button use will not be that challenging for you. I still don’t remember everything.

What’s the best way for me to reach out to you? I know the return window has ended but the product has suddenly stopped working completely after a month & we were really loving the product & now we feel abit surprised that such an expensive item suddenly went kaput.
