Provides gastric support and peace of mind
We always provide extra digestive support to our show horses when they travel, and this product is a great choice. We noticed that our horses seemed more content and had their normal appetite when we used it. For stressful times at home (stall rest or lack of turnout due to bad weather), this is also a great choice. Anything we can do to add a little extra insurance against gastric distress is a good idea!

Easy to use and seems effective
We have a 21 year old horse that developed some pretty bad sores. She struggled to eat and lost a bunch of weight before we found her in the field. We are nursing her back to health and we used this oral paste to try to help her start eating again. I cannot attest to the cause and effect or say for sure what impact this paste had on her recovery, but she is definitely putting the weight back on and she has a healthy appetite again. I think this paste helped tremendously.

Did not pass the taste test
Not taste approved. The horse spit this product out almost immediately and this horse is not known to be a picky eater. The product itself did not look appetizing either. Some sort of weird black goo with stuff mixed in. I would not order this again.

Did not improve horse’s soft stool
I have used similar products in the past when my old TB gets loose stools. They have helped firm his stools to normal balls instead of cow patties. I did not have the same results with this product and his stools have remained very soft.

Great for those long distance transports
We have used this product before, and I can confidently say it is effective in helping horses settle down after long journeys. We have a new horse arriving soon after traveling 2,000 miles, and this product will help ease its stress and make it feel at home more quickly. It is good to have this on your shelf in case your horse becomes stressed for any reason.

I like to keep this in my horse first aid kit. It is easy to administer. Since it is paste form, it is easy to carry with you. It has been effective when I had to use it. The horses take it well, so the taste must not be too bad. It is a good value too.
