Better than substrate and way better than fabric
It looks like a combination of substrate and one of those fabric carpets you find at a PetSmart or a Petco Which makes it easily one of the best things you can clean and at the same time, looking very realistic at the same time.

Great option
We have 2 leopard gecko tanks. We have tried the carpet substrate in the past and found that it gets an odor very quickly. Some recommend paper towels but it just wasnât working with our little guys. We were looking for something more ânaturalâ. This sand mat is perfect! It is good quality and more affordable than other options. They fit perfect in the tank and lay flat within hours. They also are easier to clean and keep clean compared to the carpet substrate. Would definitely recommend!

My lizard loves it
Good quality, stays in place nicely, feels good. I like that it is like a desert but without the dangers of sand or sharp rock. It is tough to clean without taking the whole thing out. It was a bit larger than needed, but I easily cut a section off to make it fit.

Looks Nd works greatn
This thing is awesome. When we got a baby bearded dragon we did not want to start him off on a sand substrate right away, but we absolutely hate carpet and paper towel options. A lot of people use tile but we really like the natural look of sand so although these are a little on the pricey end we bought one and love it! They’re easy to clean unless you’re Beardie is having wet poops, and look great!they’re VERY Duran soninseenit being worth the cost. There’s no chance for your Beardie to get tangled in it (like carpet) or ingest it. And it holds warmth well

Pretty to look at, while it lasts…
It’s good for what it is. Basically an overpriced rubber mat with sand and pebbles glued to it. The cost loses a star, and the difficulty in cleaning it loses another. I’ve had mine for about a year, and there are patches where the grit has completely rubbed off. It’s hard to clean, and trying to scrub it makes the sand rub off. $35 is too much to pay, because the nice-looking sand texture that you want to see doesn’t last.

Nice
I love this. I cut it very easily to fit on some skinny. Shells, it’s ten dollars less on here than it is in the pet stores

Please do not buy.
I wasnât the most informed when I had purchased my reptile. I did research that told me that sand mats were a good option for substrate when it comes to leopard geckos- after continuous research from more reliable sites, I quickly found out that they are not. Putting the good/bad substrate argument aside, this product just isnât good. I never even put it in my tank because immediately after removing it from the box the rocks attached to it started flying EVERYWHERE. Danger 1: loose objects that your pet could accidentally eat when trying to get its food. Danger 2: there is no way to genuinely clean this thing. if rocks and chunks of sand start flying everywhere from simply taking it out of the box and unrolling it, I donât wanna see what water would do to this thing. Throw out the reptile carpet and sand mats and just use paper towel if youâre not able/going to use a loose substrate. At least you can easily replace paper towel and it doesnât put your reptile at risk.

Il tappetino é arrivato integro, solo qualche sassolino staccato in giro nella confezione ma che nel complesso non modificava la fattura del prodotto, nessuna puzza o odore chimico, lo ricomprerei
