Great for kitty transpo
I had to recently transport my kitty (12 lbs) through the airport and this carrier was fantastic. She had never flown before and I think the way this carrier was made helped TONS.The inside isnât super fluffy but itâs very soft. Itâs way more roomy than I anticipated (see photos) and opening and closing the expansion part was really easy. Also getting her inside was literally easier than any carrier than Iâve ever experienced. You have multiple options to get them inside (side and top), zippers are sturdy. I really think the front window helped her anxiety, helping her feel less trapped. I also didnât worry about her being able to breathe inside as there are multiple vents. I was carrying this on my front, book bag on my back and the straps were relatively comfy and sturdy. Itâs very light for how sturdy it is. It fit perfect under Southwest seats (also see pic).

There is a lot to like about this carrier. We read the reviews before purchasing and only bought (2) bags with 5 stars to compare and ultimately choose between. This is the one we kept. We have a 15lb chunky cat. We wanted a back pack style, so my daughter could move through the airport with a carryon bag and a cat easily when flying alone. There was plenty of space for him. He had enough room to be comfortable laying down when the bag was sitting upright. Even though there was less “floor space” than a typical over the shoulder soft carrier when the bag is upright, it was a smoother walk for him, since he road on her back rather than bumping along at her side & the large round (and low) mesh gave him plenty of view and air laying down. When sitting up, the bag had an amazing amount of space. It also has a mesh zipper section, so when he sits up, he still has plenty of view, air, & an exceptional amount of space. It has an additional “pop out” room that is all mesh. The designers of this bag really focused on kitty comfort, so as a result of the mesh windows (which provided great airflow & visual access) there weren’t pockets, but my daughter actually used the “pop out” zipper section as a pocket and was able to take his treats, his meds, rubber gloves, an extra piddle pad, and handiwipes. We examined the seams. Although time will tell if it holds up, it seems to be well made. The padded shoulder straps were very comfortable. The final deciding factor was that this backpack had both the chest strap and the lower hip/waist strap. Our daughter said that it distributed the weight well on her body, so she didn’t have to lean forward & also helped support the bag, so our hefty cat didn’t end up sagging or the bag collapsing. It went on the plane and under the seat just fine laying down (which, when laid on its back has as much room as any over the shoulder bag for his comfort on the flight. He was so comfortable in his travel carrier, that he sat up and gave himself a bath while at the airport. Anyone with a cat knows that won’t happen unless the cat feels comfortable and secure. Our Cat Loves This Versatile Cat Backpack!
Love this cat backpack (we had it two years), we use it as his carrier, makeshift hanging cat bed, and to carry him during outside adventures. Our cat is considerably big (he’s 12 lbs but very tall and long, just athletic build), and he fits comfortably in this cat back. It has held up very nicely so far, has a supportive chest clip, honestly have not used the expandable part very much, and the window part looks scratchy is because we never removed the protective film on it. The cat backpack has a collar lead and clip in it that we used to clip to our catâs harness if we have the screen flap unzipped and rolled back. Zipper quality is sturdy (our cat has been destructive before and has not destroyed this carrier), it has a lot of ventilation holes (probably not very warm, but relatively), is light (without a cat inside), and easy to put on and wear. It was worth the money!

I like the ease of this carrier as a backpack. Distribute weight, evenly cross shoulders, and back. Cat adjusted fairly quickly. I like the expandable area for at airport or for added stretching Room. Sturdy but not heavy.

My cat and I absolutely love this backpack!Iâve tried the bubble brand (which works great but lacks proper ventilation for the summer months) and the Lekeresie (had a bar pressing on my lower back which is a no go for hikes)This one is foldable; easy to store when not in use. Itâs incredibly sturdy when fully assembled, with the back extension capable of holding itself up on its own.There are 5 different entry points (the small side circle is her favorite choice of entry)Thereâs so much ventilation. Itâs even equipped with two sturdy removable floor pads that are covered in a soft fleece material.Itâs very comfortable to walk her around in. Sheâs about 12lbs and this backpack supports her weight effortlessly. Sheâs got plenty of room and I have yet to experience any lower back pain.She voluntarily sleeps and plays in it all the time and comes running whenever she hears me moving it. 10/10 recommend!

Better for animals on the smaller side
Good product but my cat is 18 pounds and rather large to fit inside but the carrier still does the job. Better for smaller animals I would say. The carrier is nice in the sense that it folds out to be bigger if your pet just wants to sit and relax inside.

Exactly what you need!
I spent over a month preparing to purchase a new cat carrier. I chose this one because it is soft and collapses for storage/cleaning and has flexibility if you need to take kitty as a carry-on for a flight. It expands, it has at least 3 different sturdy zipper entrances, its breathable with good quality mesh and breathing holes, and the kitty has a place to clearly view from the little window. I like how its easy to carry on my back or chest when kitty needs comforting. Its also sturdy enough for an anxious cat to scratch up the insides and it still keeps them safely inside on a car ride! This works great for us and kitty feels safe and wants to stay inside of it to nap.

Stella loves her backpack. I love the fact that itâs expandable, and a decent size, without being bulky. The mesh is great and gives her adequate air supply. The flooring is firm with a plush cover. Itâs sturdy and supportive when weâve walked around the apartment.I already walk Stella daily on a harness and leash, but this backpack will be good for when *I* want to go on longer and faster walks/hikes, because I can take her out of the backpack periodically, to explore her surroundings.Itâs got lots of practical zips on it. Also, itâs the perfect carrier for vet trips, car trips, or visiting peopleâs homes.Iâve been leaving it open on the floor, so she can play inside it and get really used to it. Iâve found her sleeping in it several times.Iâm going to put some heavy duty wall hooks next to my office desk, and hang it on there. This will allow her to sit/sleep inside it (hammock style), while Iâm working. Currently, she climbs onto my desk/my lap and presses the keys on my laptop. If sheâs in this backpack, sheâll be able to see me easily, plus sheâll be up higher, which is what she loves. Really happy with this purchase!
