Great fit, tons of pockets and straps, excellent quality
These super adjustable farrier’s chaps have tons of straps to give you a perfect fit every time. Tons of straps and pockets to hold every tool you need. They’re made of great quality suede and heavy duty canvas, with a hook and loop closure to ensure they’re totally adjustable. The cut and weight are excellent, too, making them comfortable for a long day of hoof trimming. I would totally recommend these to anyone who has to handle hooves on a regular basis, be they horses, cattle, goats, sheep, or any other hooved critter that needs regular trims.

Tight thigh straps
I love the quality of these farrier chaps. However, I could barely get the last straps around the leg, and I donât have big thighs. I ended up making a Velcro extension to be able to use them.

Solid, strong and comfortable for heavier shoeing and trimming work
This manufacturer, Equine Care, has many different variations of farrier aprons. I own two of them and both are solid and sturdy. They’re hefty and as comfortable as can be expected considering they’re basically groin and thigh armor with a lot of pockets and loops for carrying some heavy/sharp tools. The main difference amongst models is how heavy the hoof work that you’re planning on doing is and how the apron “attaches” to your body.This particular version uses thick leather and nylon belt with a standard design belt buckle. The two lower straps, they go between your legs right at the crotch, are wide leather belts with hook/loop attachments. This version has 2 larger tool pockets rather than the 4 smaller pockets that some of the lighter work aprons have.I’m surprised that the description doesn’t mention the white, soft leather and suede work gloves that are included. They’re quite solid and comfortable.

Good form and function
Looks great, fits nicely, easy to wear. Pretty heavy-duty with plenty of straps and pockets for tools, and works very well. Belt is quick release if needed, velcro-ed down on one side and buckled on the other. Easy to clean and care for, comfortable to wear, work, and walk around in. For the price itâs a fantastic apron.

Fully adjustable, very well made
I’m a lightweight, very lean, and I was happy to see that this had an adjustable velcro section on the belt that allowed it to be adjusted to my 32 inch waist. This thing is ruggedly built — thick stitching, real leather, and built to stand up to the obvious abuse it will get when I’m trimming hooves.This is my third product from the Equine Care company, and each of them has been high-quality. Highly recommended!

Well made durable, come a little stiff and take a break in period, but most heavy duty leather products like this, require that. Secure tight stitching, allows for rugged use. Fits as they should, handy pockets that function as tool holders while protecting my thighs.

These are good quality leather, stiff to start, which is expected. The pockets are as expected and hold up well. This is a nice set to work with.
