Great Fun for Cats!
I bought this toy for my two cats based on the high ratings and have to agree that it is well constructed, durable and fun for the cats. I’ll be sitting, reading and suddenly hear this batting noise. They just walk past it, the little toys start to move and they’re at it.It’s been a month and a half since I bought it and I have to admit that they are not really interested in it so much anymore but then again they’re all gung ho for the drawstring from my sweatpants. They never seem to tire from that!

My cat likes it
My experience with this toy was as follows. I first put it on the door handle and my cats came and swatted and bit the toy. Within a few minutes if not seconds the toy came off the door handle and was on the floor. I tried putting it back but this kept happening again and again. Once the toy was on the floor my cats took only a mild interest in it. I had to pick it up and wave it around for them to actually play with it but they did like it.Since I kind of wanted the toy for my cats to play with on their own when I am not home to play with them, I felt like the fact that it came off the door handle so easily defeated the purpose. However, I later saw that my cats did play with it on their own at times even though it was not hanging on the door knob. One if them likes to sleep near the toy and plays with it occasionally. For this reason, it was worth buying. The toy has little toys attached by a thin rubber band type string and a thick cord. Because of the thinner string I was concerned all the toys would come off the string the first time my cats chewed on or pulled hard on the strings. I am pleasantly surprised it hasn’t happened so far. So overall I think it was a good purchase.

Impressive, but cat not impressed.
This is a well-made cat toy. Bright and sparkly. Each little ‘lure’ has a fishy theme and are very cute.However, my kitten was not overly impressed with the set up of the toy. The 4 hanging lures were confusing I think, or maybe the close proximity to the door put her off. In the end I took off the toys and attached the lure with the dangling ribbons (octopus?) to elastic at the end of a stick. She loves this. The other toys she plays with separately if we throw them. She didn’t seem to notice any catnip in the toys, i.e. she wasn’t more interested in them than she is of packaging ‘peanuts’.The main toy sits redundantly on a door knob. I wouldn’t buy this for a friend’s cat.

Potential choking/swallowing hazard
I absolutely love the top half of this product, even the bungee cord.When you get to the bottom of the product that’s where I have a problem. It is not made for a kitten or cat that wants to play hard. There’s thin string that is easily breakable, plastic cap at the end of the bungee that could easily become detached, but most of all the metal clip at the end of the string that attaches to the toy. If they would remake the toy with better quality product that withstands a cat that likes to play hard and chew that would be worth it.I was extremely disappointed.

se me hace caro para la baja calidad que tiene el gancho, a mis gatos no les duró mucho, tuve que improvisar para que pudieran seguir jugando, creo que es algo a lo que le deben poner muchaaaaaa atención, no lo recomiendo

En mi caso a veces lo uso con unas chapas redondas, por lo que con el jugueteo termina saliendose ya que la “boca del gato” está muy amplia, los 4 colgantes están muy bien hechos, aunque me gustaría que fueran un poco mas largos o que el resorte estirara más, Lo cuelgo desde lo alto del marco de la puerta con un gancho y eso hace que mi gato de 8 meses se sienta más atraído pues le da mas movimiento.Se me hace un concepto muy original.
