Great toy for parrots with disabilities
My 43 yo double yellow amazon has cataracts and must wear a soft collar due to long term unresolved picking issues. These things limit his mobility and also cause some safety concerns. Finding toys he camât get caught up in and can reach from his perch is a priority. He also needs good contrast and things large enough to see up close, since close vision is what is lost from cataracts. Also, unlike parrots with full vision, he needs familiar items because his vision loss gives him enough challenge and he needs to trust what he touches. These donuts make him very happy. He gets excited when a new one is put in his cage that is full of donuts as if they arenât obvious he wonât search for them.

Bird safe hook!
I purchased this bird toy because my little senegal parrot thinks he’s a big bird. He destroys toys for smaller birds wat too easily, so I upsized to this one, and he’s not Bern able to chew through all the rings yet.The cardboard loops are sturdy and durable. The plastic spinner toys are also very bird resistant. The products use to make this are great quality and bird safe. I love that they used a safe clip, as lots of bird toys use inappropriate clip loops. The size is large, but an African grey or macaw may make short work of this. The colors are bright and attractive and draw a parrots interest.I feel this is an excellent, safe, and entertaining bird toy for around $15.
Trash or Treasure? –
Good Toy, Especially For SM/MD Birds
Is this trash, or treasure? What I like:This toy is brightly colored and attracts my bird’s attention. The multiple hanging items gives her variety to choose from, and the fact that the toy swings when she hits it is fun for her. She likes the rings, and spent a couple hours chewing on them as soon as I put it up on her play stand. What I don’t like:This toy is best for conures, cockatiels, Hahn’s or other mini-macaws, quakers or parrotlets, etc. Definitely DO NOT give this to a larger bird like a cockatoo or big macaw! It was debatable whether or not this should be given to a Grey or Amazon, but ultimately with supervision I let my Grey play with it. It arrived already separated because the construction is with rings that aren’t solid. That means that it’s easy for the links to fall off, or for a bird to pull them right apart. This is one of the main reasons this is not suitable for a larger bird. Also the main chain and the split rings in the upper portion of the toy are not suitable for larger birds. The cardboard “bagels” are good for any bird, but you have to take into account the overall construction of the toy when assessing which birds this would be good for.I figured my bird would yank this apart in minutes and it would be all over. However she politely stuck to chewing on the cardboard bagels and didn’t disassemble the plastic links. I understand they used those links so that you can “refill” this toy with more cardboard rings, but that does limit the usefulness of the toy somewhat. I will leave this up for my bird to play with since she seems to like it, however it isn’t something I can leave up if I’m going to be gone and I definitely wouldn’t put this in her cage. Too much opportunity to get herself caught on something, or get the links pulled apart. So is this trash, or treasure?Despite some flaws in the construction, I consider this just outside the treasure chest. If it had slightly more solid construction, it would be treasure. As it is, if you have a suitable size bird this is a nice toy.

Fun toy for birds
This was a perfect toy for my cock-a-too. Cookie is over 50 years old so I always look for safe and fun toys and this one was it! She enjoyed it and had the best time. Perfect toy!

Great toy for parrots of any size
While this toy is designed for larger birds like Amazons, Mini Macaws, and African Greys, I was so glad I chose this one and was pleasantly surprised to see that my Sun Conures absolutely love it too!The toy is perfect for chewing and shredding, and it provides my birds with hours of entertainment. The cardboard bagels are not only durable but also safe for birds to enjoy, and I especially appreciate that the toy is made from bird-safe materials. This gives me peace of mind knowing that itâs a safe option for my birds. Overall, this toy is a great choice for any bird, regardless of size.

Good toy for larger parrots
I’ve got a blue crown conure, and while he’s a large sized conure, this is probably geared more toward larger parrots than him. So I think this will last him quite a while! He’s still warming up to it, but he enjoys the cardboard bagel rolls on their own so I think he’ll come around to this. What I like about this one is that you’re able to refill it with more of the round bagel rolls when your bird chews through the ones on the toy, so (for me at least) this toy will get multiple uses, as I like to repurpose older or broken toys, and I already have a little stash of standalone bagel rolls I can use to refill this one. Not a bad price either!

So. Worth. It.
We have an African Grey who goes through toys like nobody’s business and it’s very difficult to find anything tough enough or made well enough to survive for very long but this? It’s seriously impressive. He can chew on, peel, shake, hang on, and just beat the crap out of it without doing much damage. The plastic loop pieces are the weakest but he likes to focus on the cardboard rings.Overall: If you have a medium-large, bored bird who needs a toy that will hold up well and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, I’d keep this one in mind.

it’s a lot
our grey has been around for decades and by now, new toys are no surprise. what is surprising is how she’s drawn to this one. it’s a lot of stuff, k. so it will last as she tears away at it. would likely do this one again just keep in mind it’s large and having a larger cage helps.
