No instructions isn’t an issue if you take your time
I’m not sure why people complain about the not being instructions. Looked at the photo in the listing and assembled with no issue.Only recommendation is to take off the safety film BEFORE you assemble. I didn’t realize there was film. Just assumed I got a cloudy version.My ADF tadpole loves it

Not worth the money
First part is my own fault I guess. I didnât realize it was measured in CM not INCH. So itâs way to small. It also came with no instructions and cheap parts. Itâs just not worth the money, there are plenty of other ones to choose from that cost less, arenât a hassle and better made.

Breaks easily, doesn’t stay in place well. The suction cups are not strong enough to hold it in place and don’t stay in the holes well. A light bump and they pop out. So unfortunately I have to use the hangers but that means the lid on my tank doesn’t sit down in the groove. I like the idea, size, general design. But a slight bump and it goes too deep, breaks the hangers, or a suction cup pops out. Also, it needs an adjustable spacer on the bottom to push the bottom part away from the side of the tank so it sits level. I improvised by putting an extra suction cup there to push the bottom away from the tank but… I got one from another brand and it has similar problems as well …. Why can’t we come up with a better design?

People complain too much. It was easy.
Easy to assemble. Just look at the picture and put the tabs and screws/nuts on it. Took me longer to remove film off each piece than put it together.

So I do like the product, it is just a bit tedious, Iâm adding a 20G Innovative Marine as a visual.
So I do like the product, it is just a bit tedious (not difficult) to put together. Iâm adding a video of a 20G Innovative Marine as a good visual. I really like that it is acrylic, beautifully see through, and has perfect size holes that allow for great water flow and just big/small enough for an anemone not to be able to crawl through. It is the only separator I have found if itâs kind, I dislike the Mesh nets as it doesnât allow for flow and gets dirty quite quickly. The 10x10x10 is perfect for placing clownfish inside in order for the anemone to host them, there is just enough space. Definitely get a bigger one if your fish is going to be larger than 3â inches. I did get a slightly broken piece but it was good enough in order to place the walls together. IF you do get a broken piece I would recommend buying Aquarium Grade Silicone (PetSmart, PetCo, and LFSs should carry it) and bonding the walls or wherever needed. Silicone would look fine and be sturdier. Again itâs definitely the only one I could find that wasnât a Specimen Box which does not have holes or is big enough and has a top cover and not a detritus gathering mesh net. The only reason I am giving it a 4* is that it is tedious to put together and they should include 2 or 3 spare pieces just in case.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. This is an extremely cheap piece of plastic and will fall apart with the smallest amount of pressure.The screws that hold it together are sharp so it compromises the fish you have inside the main tank should they swim near it. They also come so far out in the back that you canât use the suction cups. The lid barely stays in place and is flimsy. The ONLY reason we are keeping it is because we had to use it before we had a chance to return it. The price is 3x more than what it should be.

Not perfect but efficient
I was a little confused when I first open it, it does not come preassembled, there is no directions and the part are covered in a safety film the made think it was a frosted plastic it was until I began to pack it away to return that I noticed the film.

The whole item Is weak when. You put it together it’s not tight the lid comes open the suction cups are very cheaply made the whole box is a waste of money spent. I don’t have pic because I trashed it after my guppy got out as soon as I placed it in the box

Like some others have stated, people are just complaining or built it incorrectly. Hanging mount is solid box is pretty rigid once tightened. For those complaining about the screw length the sides are actually threaded so you can use the smaller screws and no nuts which keep the inside of the box smooth.
