Great buy, so convenient
My husband is a pro fishing guide and he liked this! We were going on a ferry so needed something travel handy. He was good with this set up, and the kit came with everything you need. He said we would never use the stuff it came with but itâs nice in a pinch. He said next time we go to Catalina Island he will just bring this since it was so convenient.

Itâs ok
I was finally able to use the fishing pole last night, itâs nice that it can be broke down and out in the bag to keep it clean or whatever but the line on it sucks. It kept wanting to tangle and for some reason the reel is kinda noisy. The fish grippers and pliers work great. The little tackle box was ok, just needed more hooks and weights.

Nice rod and reel combo
I ordered the Tripquips fishing pole telescopic fishing rod and reel combo to be able to throw it in the storage compartment of my pickup along with a couple of other rigs so that I will have an extra pole when I go fishing. I have a mountain cabin that I live at during the summers and frequently go to the lake to go fishing and always like an extra pole in case I have trouble with another one. I also frequently take my kayak up to the lake and go fishing and this rod and reel combo gives me additional options as well. I really like the flexibility that a telescopic rod gives me. The reel comes pre-loaded with line and has smooth either left or right-handed reeling action. The combo also includes a small lure box with some gear, fishing pliers, a lip gripper, and a carrier bag.

A great kit to keep available in the car. I got this to keep in the back of the car just in case I decide to stop and fish somewhere when out on the road. It comes with the basics, including a nice storage bag so it is very easy to keep in the trunk for the times when it might be needed.Everything included is good quality, useable equipment. No, it isn’t the best quality out there, but it is very useable for those unexpected fishing opportunities that pop up from time to time.

Stand-by fishing kit
In my state, I have finally reached the age where I can legally fish on a personal ID alone, so I ordered this kit as a “no-effort” standby I could throw in the car to fish locally on a whim. It comes with everything I need, except decent weather, and I have apparently missed the suitable weather season to give this its first real use.The rod is full length, telescoping from a manageable stowed form, and is easy to extend and collapse. If it has a down side, it is that the segment rotation has to be set to deliberately align the fishing-line guides. Reel attachment is as usual/as expected. The reel comes with line, which some reviewers recommend replacing immediately, but I may wait until I have had some dry-run sessions with a practice lure (assuming the kit does not include one, I already have a couple I need to find). My overall impression is that the gear is fine for casual use, and I am one who says I am more of a fisher than a catcher anyway.

Telescopic fishing pole and extras
With this product I was thoroughly impressed. The telescopic pole is well constructed and rigid. The reel did not come mounted on the pole but did come with fishing line already installed. That was a pleasent surpriese. I would guess it is 8-10 lbs. test line. What really impressed me was that the pole came in its own sleeve for shipping and the kit came with a telescopic fish grabber to pull the fish up over the side of the boat. Also included lures and a case. This is a great product to keep in the truck for those, “on a whim” fishing excursions.Very impressed with this one

perfect for kayaking
as an avid whitewater kayaker, this kit is just small/light enough for me to toss in my boat when I am going on longer trips and is super nice to have on rivers like chattooga where there is the real possibility of an unintended overnighter if anything goes wrong
