Excellent reptile bedding
Affordable high quality bedding for reptiles. Holds humidity well and doesn’t get dusty in drier enclosures. Holds up and looks great for as long as you need it. I appreciate that it can be used for all kinds of setups and helps to keep my herp room from smelling like a snake and lizard litter box.

Very pleased
I like adding a little cypress to my preferred substrate. This works very well and lasts a while, depending on how big your enclosure is.

Happy Snake
Proven to be an excellent choice for my corn snakeâs enclosure. Its natural composition, moisture retention, and odor control properties make it a standout product. My corn snake loves it, and Iâve seen positive changes in his behavior and activity levels.

Good substrate for baby turtles
After moving north from Georgia we could no longer find cypress mulch in the home improvement stores where we used to buy large inexpensive bags. So we were forced to order this Fluker’s brand at a much greater price. But this mulch seems better in quality and consistency and it works well for our hatchling tortoises. Unfortunately, this bedding, when dampened, seems to support fruit flies. This is our only complaint and we will use this brand until we can find another cheaper source.

LEOPARD GECKO APPROVED
Itâs a great MIX IN for leopard geckos! Itâs starting to get very hot and i have a huge tank for my Leo (about 75 gallons) & in my experience I would have a hard time keeping his humid side humid during the hot temps. Iâve used eco earth on its own as substrate which is just okay on its own at breaking down waste and providing a nice digging surface for my Leo. However itâs definitely prone to dust and holds moisture very poorly. This flukers substrate exceeded my expectations! As a mix in, it has managed the dust levels to almost nonexistent and holds moisture very very well. At first I was nervous since these are wood chips but theyâre actually pretty soft wood and would aid wonderfully in getting stuck shed off toes! As I mentioned before, this is a great MIX IN with loose substrate! Do not use this on its own! Itâs just straight wood chips!!

Rip off
This says it is a 10 lb bag but only weighs 1 lb 13 oz. When I tried to return it I was told it is not returnable
