Very nice boot for a very nice price. Ordered more
It’s not often that I can find something equine related at a reasonable price. These boots are one of those nice finds. After applying the coupon, at only $5.25 each boot, I’m very happy with the price. More importantly, though, I’m very happy with the quality of the boot at that price.
The stays seem to be more substantive than what I’ve seen lately in the fly boots I’ve been buying and should serve nicely for helping to hold up the boot.
The extra wide fabric portion of the Velcro is almost twice as wide as the hook portion allowing for more adjustability when putting the boot on to give it the proper fit without sacrificing the secureness of the boot.
The ‘fur’ lining, adds more comfort for the horse at the points where it will be rubbing against their skin.
Finally, they look great on the horse – very classy looking.
Whenever you find anything equine at what would be considered even being close to a reasonable price – you stock up. I’ve already ordered 2 more sets!!

Breathable mesh fly boots
I got these mesh fly boots for my mom and for her horse. It has wider Velcro patches than other brands I’ve used and has ‘elastic tape’ as the closure. They do an okay job of keeping biting insects off of her horse’s lower legs. They do pick up and hold onto dust and dirt very easily but can be cleaned with the hose just as easily. The top leaves a gap between the boots and legs which some bugs take advantage of. The mesh is breathable and the style actually looks better in person than I thought they would. A little pricey in my opinion.

Fly boots – secure
We’ve only had these for a short amount of time so not sure about long term use. But our thoroughbred runs around the pasture quite frequently and plays hard / tried to kick them off / rolled / sprinted around and they have all stayed on and have not slipped. Additionally they work as intended and have kept the flies from bothering his legs. After an adjustment period he seems happier in the pasture. They’re easy to secure and I think work great for the price.

Ripped less than 5 days
Only placed on horse a few days ago. Saw something green like a piece of ribbon so upon inspection I found a rip. The green support strip was bowed out. I worked it back straight and back into the correct position. Disappointed that this happen d so quickly. Another one is torn but the green strip has t escaped yet.

A must have
I jumped at the chance to try these on my two horses- I usually go through two pairs PER HORSE in an average summer because flies are insane and itâs a constant battle to keep them comfortable. The well known brands out there arenât cheap so Iâm eager to try these and see how they hold up. The concept is great and more and more people are finding out they are pretty efficient at helping a constant problem. I tend to keep mine on the horses for days at a time then rotate and check for any possible rubs or sores and wash them if I have a spare pair. They need to be durable, so weâll see if these can compete with the better known brands

These boots Are Fly…. proof
They work well to help protect the legs. And, pretty stylish. The horse is kind of rough on them and don’t last more than a couple months at most.

Nice feeling fly boots
I keep fly boots on my 2 horses every summer and it really seems to make a difference. No more stomping of their feet trying to scare the flies away. It’s interesting that they work like they do being so open at the top, but the flies don’t see to go down into the boot area. I like that these have really soft edges and the velcro sections are big and seem to work very well. They look a bit funny to me with the fur around the edges, but it does work to make it soft and I assume more comfortable. The only negative I have is that they came flat in a box and they want to stay flat when you open them up. I’m not sure how long it’s going to take before the creases relax and they don’t have points. Overall I’m happy with these and if they’ll last a year, I’ll definitely be happy for the amount I’ve saved over the name brand boots I’ve been getting.

These are very nicely made fly boots, lined on the edges with a soft material. Love them!
