Cold when frozen, easy to apply to the horse’s leg
This is an easy to use icepack for horses. The pictures below show the ice pack on a 15.2 h quarter horse mare. The icepack covered her leg from just below the knee to the top of the hoof. The icepack froze in less than 2 hours in the freezer. It remained flexible allowing for it to be easily wrapped around the leg. It stayed frozen for less than an hour outside. I recommend when transporting to the barn, keeping it in a cooler to help it stay frozen longer. When frozen, it stayed cold enough to use for ~20 minutes in 45 degrees F temperature. A nice extra is that it comes with a case for storage.
