GloFish® Aquarium Sand sets the stage for a unique aquatic experience. This white sand with fluorescent highlights not only provides a base for all your GloFish ornaments and plants, but it also looks magical under your GloFish aquarium’s blue LED lights. Use 1.5-2 pounds of sand per gallon of water. Rinse sand before using. To clean your sand bed with a gravel vacuum, care must be taken to avoid removing the sand by limiting the flow rate through the siphon tube. For the best GloFish viewing experience, try using a blue wavelength light, like GloFish LED lighting, to give a uniquely fluorescent look, particularly in low or nighttime lighting. Traditional white aquarium lights work well for daytime use. Your friends and family will love watching your GloFish aquarium come alive under GloFish lighting. Born Brilliant™, GloFish® fluorescent fish are born with their brilliant colors. They get their natural, vibrant hues from their parents and are not injected, painted or dyed. Enhanced by a full range of aquarium kits, lighting, décor and accessories, GloFish products create a complete underwater fluorescent experience that appeals to all ages and levels of expertise. Transform any aquarium into a GloFish environment at the click of a switch.

Plastic but does the job.
Not the greatest tank but it will do for a new fish enthusiast that wants to have a temporary tank. So I cut all the walls and made it 1 big tank and it is currently only holding 1 beta. There really are not too many fish that should be in 3 gal tanks for a long period of time, but that is my opinion. This tank is made of plastic so im not confident that the clarity of the outside will last, but I cant mark off anything for an assumption. The filter is very low flow which is good for this small of a tank but when the walls are whole and you have the 3 compartments, only the middle is really getting any good flow of water. I probably would not buy this again, but was good for a test.

It cool to look at
This is made of plastic, the separate compartments are small, but itâs good for a while. It is really nice to look at and use for a nightlight in my daughterâs bedroom. She enjoys, relaxing and just watching the fish.. the price is on the higher side for what it is. Itâs a nice small starter tank or childâs room tank.. not a lot of maintenance perfect for somebody who maybe just starting out with fish maybe not sure they want the commitment. No regrets for getting this we enjoy it.

GloFish Betta Trilogy Aquarium, 3 Gallons, Includes LED Lights and Filter
Nice small beta fish tank. You can put fish in the tank or a few plants. I think it should last a while and is a good way to introduce new people into the aquarium hobby.

Pricey and poorly designed
I hate to say it but I would not recommend this tank. Ignoring the fact that even betas need 5 gallon tanks at a minimum so there’s no way you could fit 3 in here and have them be healthy, the filtration system is an absolute joke. Some might say “well just remove the dividers and you at least have a 3 gallon tank” which would be good, except the filter is held up by a cross wall held on by the dividers. So while the dividers are removable, you can’t actually function without them. There’s also no way to add an over the tank filter because the lid is proprietary so you’d have to cut into it to make that work. I just think there are much better alternatives available at this price point.

Works weel and versatile
Cute little tank. You could have 3 bettas, or about 5 small fish such as glow fish. The one thing is, glow fish are schooling fish. They are unhappy in groups of less than 5. Thankfully, the white walls that are there to keep bettas separate are removable so you can open the whole thing up for a school of a different kind of fish. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because you still need a trip to the store. I love it when startup kits come with everything you need. You still need some sort of bacteria/water conditioner and a heater, and decorations for the fish to use to hide from the stress of a new tank. Can’t wait to add the fish.

Interesting setup
I used to really enjoy keep 3 bettas in my entertainment center above my TV but I never replaced them because I felt the bowls were too small and it took a lot of maintenance to keep the water fresh. I thought this looked like a really cool idea and it has filtration to keep the biological cycle going, and I can do a combined water change that covers all 3 sections. The lid fits securely as it clips into place, and it can be opened for access to the filter pads for cleaning that occasionally. There are 3 feeding holes which is a great idea as well. I like that the light has 2 modes, white for daylight and a blue nightlight. The only drawbacks are that it’s a plastic tank so it’s just not as durable as glass. The surface will scratch if you have to clean any algae growth off it aggressively, and the smaller plastic tanks that I’ve had in the past usually end up getting brittle and cracking, so the life is just not as long as glass. It’s a bit small, but much better than the tiny cups that stores keep bettas in, and it doesn’t really have a convenient option for removing the dividers and using it as a larger tank for one individual fish. Another minor concern is that the water pump has to be sideways, favoring flow in one direction over the other. Time will tell if it creates stagnation on one side, but I doubt it would be noticeable. The price seems a bit high for a plastic tank as well, but it’s a good beginner setup to see if you’re interested in going deeper into the hobby. Thanks for letting me try this out, it’s a pretty cool product.

It’s cool
Nice blue lighting for night time. I currently have 2 males and 1 female. The triple setup is convenient. Kind of worried about long term because of the plastic used in the build. I’ve never had a plastic fish tank before, but so far after a couple of cleaning it seems to be holding up. I like how everything is included here. I’ve only ever had 1 aquarium before this and it was a 10 gallon glass one so my experience is limited, but I think this is a good beginner setup for beta fish.

Very Cool Aquarium Setup
This is such a cool idea! This is a great way to keep multiple Bettas in the same tank without fear and extra filters and lights. The three compartments are separated by an opaque divider to the fish cannot see each other. However, everything runs on one set of lights and one filter which is very convenient. It takes up less space and fewer cords and outlets than trying to run three separate tanks. I can personalize each compartment to create a visual masterpiece. Three Bettas in one tank without fighting is very cool. The kit sets up easily. The filter seems to be working well at keeping everything clean and biologically balanced. The included light is very nice and I can choose the visual effect I want. This is a great kit and I would totally recommend it for anyone.
