Exactly as described
After 4 accidents with our adopted Doberman, two on the sofa, I ordered these (the sofa cover and a smaller one for his bed) to stave off any potential future sofa disasters! Of the colors offered, I chose the blue as it blended with the already blue sofa and decor. When the package arrived, the item was sealed in a plastic bag which had been placed in a box (the smaller one was also in the box). The color was true to form, and the fabric was soft yet sturdy, nicely quilted, and double sided. The blue does not show dirt or dog hair which is always a plus. The large size fit the sofa perfectly covering both arms, and the entire back, seating area, and front to the floor. My dog had no hesitation about jumping up to his place and making himself comfortable as there was neither an unpleasant odor to the fabric nor an unpleasant feel to the touch. My husband, who is a most gifted naysayer and doubter, immediately stated, “This is really good quality. How much did this cost?” When I told him, he was quite shocked that the cost was so reasonable for such good quality.On my part there was some uncertainty about the degree of waterproofing in the fabric, so I decided to test it. With towel at the ready and with a bit of trepidation, I gingerly poured about 1/4 cup of water on the cover just as had been done in the video. Much to my surprise and delight, the water beaded up immediately! What a relief. The cover was completely waterproof so the towel came in handy to absorb the perfect little beads of water. To be on the safe side, I did fold a beach towel and place it on top of the place where my dog sits to absorb any liquid that would bead up all the while totally trusting the waterproofing in the cover to protect my sofa. To say that we have been pleased with this purchase would be an understatement. As of yet we have not had to wash the cover, but I have great expectations that it will do just fine and last for quite some time. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. Works Well but a Little Short
It looks fine on the couch and keeps the dog from getting the couch all dirty but we just wish it was long enough to cover a standard size couch. It won’t go far enough to cover both arms of the couch, just one or the other.

Wow, product is amazing – accidents happen with both people and puppies – this product is wonderful. Top towel was wet, yet it never touched the pet cover on my sofa. It is 100% the way it is advertised. I recommend this product for both humans and animals. It saves your furniture! Worth the price too!

Great product for the price
We have husky mutt rescues; one with a bladder condition and one epileptic (meds can cause leakage, especially if they are changed). We were laundering bedding every freaking ten minutes. We have several – for the couches and the main bed the dogs sleep in (they sleep with their boy).Pros:The dogs actually lay on these. I had chucks before and they were too thick and stiff and the girls would choose to lay elsewhere, so they’d leak elsewhere.They are light enough that the boy can sleep under it in the 100 degree summer and the dogs still lay on top, with the bed protected.Our epileptic pupper once had a HUGE puddle. STG it was like a cup of liquid that amazingly stayed in its own pothole in the bed. We caught it in enough time and nothing got on the bed. We did have to bring a towel to it to absorb the liquid, then threw all that in the wash. After that, we got a spare for when one is in the wash. I was absolutely shocked by this, btw, because we don’t know how long that was there and it was seriously at least a cup of liquid that didn’t get through the barrier.Small bonus I don’t care about but some might – the colors work with the most common colors of furniture. The ones I got for the couches look like they came with the couches. Heh.Con:There’s really only one con, but it’s a big one depending on your needs. These aren’t completely waterproof. If you leave it for a while, it will soak through. I haven’t timed it, and truth be told, our girls tend to leak in their sleep and we don’t notice anything until they get up later, so who knows how long it’s been there. Depending on the size, these covers absorb the liquid and it stays on the one side, protecting the bed or couch. If it’s too large and left long enough, it will overwhelm the water-resistant barrier to the other side. We find this to be the case if we’ve left the girls for at least 4 hours and the puddle is larger than 10″ diameter. These are 55lb husky mutts, so if it’s a full bladder, it’s big. Luckily, that has only happened twice.Conclusion: If you’re commuting and leaving your pup for 8+ hrs and they’re a big dog, this will NOT protect your furniture from full bladder release. BUT for lighter dribbles or puddles caught soon enough, these are perfect.Actually wasn’t going to review them, but I’m here buying the 6th one (2 couches, 2 for the boy’s bed to have a spare, and one for the futon, now another for my own bed). It has become obvious I am a fan.

This product worked brilliantly when I first got it. My cat urinated on it and not a single drop got through, not even the smell.I washed as per the instructions provided above: gentle cycle, 20 degrees Celsius with non-bio detergent.Most of the waterproof coating has not gone. I tested it with a small glass of water and it’s now useless.I’m upset of course as I did what they said and I spent £65 on this!I’ve contacted them for help so we’ll see if they update the care instructions and send me a replacement.
