Pretty Nice Cat Food.
Well made Door. We have several cats only 2 will use it right now and that took several days. The rest we have to crack it open just a bit to get them to say “oh ok I can go though that” lol. Have patience i suppose. I hope they all get use to it. Also you may want to order a size up from the one you think you need. Me and my cats I think would of liked it better.

Only reason I gave it a 4 is because sometimes the lock latch moves and will lock them in/out but thatâs not a big deal in our situation. Everything else is great!

Nice looking and works, except the not well designed locking sliders
This is a nice cat door, easy to install and cat can go in and out. But the way how and where the locking sliders are located, is not well designed. My cat locked himself several times out, because it managed to touch the sliders with its paws, while opening the door. If it was not for the locking design not working well I would give a higher rating as the cat door works. However the magnet on the bottom does not always keep it shut, sometimes it stays half open.

A Cat’s-eye View
I installed this cat door in about 30 minutes. The instructions were about 90% helpful. The last 10% just has to do with drilling pilot holes for your jigsaw so that you can turn the corners easily. Just do a quick google search to find a tip. The door itself is good value for the money and seems to be sturdy enough for the task. I really appreciate the see-through door, I think it will make it easier for the cats to get used to it. I have 2 cats and one of them “helped” me install it, so she had no trouble getting used to trying it out. The other one slept through the installation, and although she was a bit more hesitant at first, she managed to follow the lead of her more adventurous sister. I need another one of these and will not hesitate to reorder it. For indoors only, though.

Reasonably durable
Iâve had a couple of these over the years. The plastic holds up fine. The clear flap gets scratched over time of course. The weatherstrip needs to be replaced about every year ( I have had some chubby cats). They do make a bit of noise if your pet does anything other than slink through. The clear door, when itâs new, helps in training a reluctant fraidy cat. It seemed to help that my cat could hear as well as see me on the other side. The locks wear out after several years but the door continues to work fine. The locks are easy to use but I did have to tape them into position as the whole thing wore out over time. They donât cost a lot and are easy to swap out for a new one so Iâd say itâs a good product and certainly worth what it costs..
