Wouldnât trust with any big fish.
After the first time using them they seem pretty cheap we did not catch any fish but the rod seems like it will break with any bigger type of fish. Very flexible and feels like plastic. It is very portable though and packs up very small.

For the price amazing
This kit came with everything you needed. We went on vacation to Florida and fished for 4 days in a row. Worked perfectly. Rods were way better than we thought. I think these rods will last a long time. Could not beat the price. And super nice carrying case. We caught snappers, catfish, a crab and croakers.

new favorite travel rods
I have an older fishing set that I use for travel, but the reel started to fail. I like this set not only because of the rod and reel but the other accessories that come with it, since the fish I catch inevitably swallow the hook. This goes in our trailer and goes with us as we camp.

The eye-lets are attached in various angles. Not sure how much this will affect casting.

Overall, I’d say it’s an easy to use kit that does work. Personally, I could live without most things in the kit. The carry case is nice and the rods are the main item. The reels are standard size, so I could use a reel I already own and prefer (these are fine if you don’t fish a ton and have favorites, etc). The lures I probably won’t use. The pliers and grip work fine, but are on the cheap side.Rods work decently. Good action and flex. Collapse back in when needed fine (I had an old, different brand one that would get stuck).Great to keep in the truck.
