I used this hay rack as an emergency that I was able to hook onto the cardboard box, I was using for my two bunnies while I was waiting on their hutch to arrive. It is very sturdy and gets the job done. Also not too big so it fit perfectly.

hay feeder keeps feed clean and dry
Holds hay and is a great concept. I have two cages with rabbits. Tried in both cages the rabbits pulled them off the side of the cage. So I brought it in the house to use in the guinea pig cage. That worked well for a day and then they pulled it down and climbed on it as if to make a great escape from their cage. I will try some wire to keep it from being removed so easily. I liked being able to remove it easily to fill with hay out of the cage but maybe securing hooks are too short to keep in place for rabbits, or even g.p.’s, tugging at it.

I got this hay dispenser for my guinea pigs so it didn’t have to stay on the floor of the cage they really enjoy it and it seems to be working well. Good price for the value of product. The hay falls out a little at the bottom but nothing to bad since it is supposed to allow the hay to fallout. It came with zip ties but it didn’t really need it with the top hooks.

This hay feeder is ample size. Bit bigger than medium size & holds a fair amount of hay. My mission was to find a hay feeder for over my bun’s litterbox so they can eat & poop bc apparently thats a thing they do, lol. Since getting this their cage is mostly clean except for stray pellet here & there but they are busy energetic bunnies who enjoy their daily roaming times. I often mix hays in here or put the old standby timmy in it then add oat or meadow grass to top it up, a delicious treat for them to munch!! I have not had any problems with this moving but I did ziptie to to their cage as sometimes certain buns can get rambunctious!
