Good quality bird seed
Love this bird seed no bad dyes and my birds love it. Their health is important to me so I appreciate non of that bad chemicals in this. Good quality, good price and the birds seem happy with it. Recommend Iâve already bought this three times now

Very good parakeet seed
I looks for seed mix without corn and soy as the one of the first ingredients. This does not hav ANY soy or corn Also I donât want funny little pellets colored or otherwise or sugar and artificial colors. Btw, corn is frequently one of the top 3 ingredients if not the number one ingredient. Corn is a cheap, fattening filler which is why they feed it to livestock. To fatten them up and cause them to get big faster. It used to be used in practically all dog kibble but consumers now look for dog food without corn for the same reasonThis seed does not have any of the above mentioned offending ingredients. It is vacuum sealed, smells fresh when you open it and, best of all (drum roll please) you can sprout it ! The birds love sprouted seed and if seed isnât fresh, it wonât sprout!Give this a try. Please remember that any change in diet should be made slowly And donât forget to give fresh veggies too and you will have a happy, healthy budgie

Been buying for a while
This food has great value and I think itâs pretty healthy and natural compared to others. It doesnât have the unnecessary colored food inside and the size is right for my budgies. Hope this helps

Clean, good-quality blend with no pellets
I mix this seed blend with frozen chopped vegetables and fruit for my four budgies.Pros:- No pellets; that’s a plus for me, because one of my birds is allergic to some kinds of pellets, and is why I first chose this seed blend- Super clean. They’re not kidding when they say it’s dust-free!- Good qualityCons:- A little on the expensive side, but that may be reflective of the fact that it’s 100% seeds with none of the fillers you find in pet shop blends- Fortified with vitamins/minerals–Why, Hagen? Budgies hull their seeds, so they don’t get any benefit from vitamins or minerals sprayed on the hull. Might as well pour them down the drain.Overall, this seed mix is a good fit for my budgies’ needs, and I’ve recommended it several times to other budgie and small parrot owners.

Long story… I was given a parakeet that was very young. He came with the food that people had been feeding him. It included colored morsels and lots of different things in it. I have raised many parakeets in my life. This one wasn’t doing well and he was having orange colored watery diarrhea. Diarrhea indicates an unhealthy bird. I’d never had a bird before that had such constant diarrhea. I returned the food to the store and bought different food. Most of the food at the pet store had colored various items in it. The next food also caused an unhealthy reaction. I was fed up. I knew that my birds in the past had always just eaten bird seeds. I looked online to find something else because the pet store did not give me any more options. I found this wonderful parakeet food that states on the package that it’s just the seeds that parakeets eat. No brainer. My parakeet only needs to eat the seeds he’s supposed to eat not all that extra junk. I emptied his food tray and put the clean seed in. He began to eat it and his diarrhea cleared up immediately. He became much more healthy and happy. I liken it to feeding children sugary cereal with lots of colored dye in it. It’s a lot of unnecessary fluff that is not good for them. I’m so happy to be able to reorder this bird seat for my parakeet.

Very nutritious
I got my parakeet from a young boy. He had never had birds before and bought what the pet store had available to feed birds with. Most of these are filled with chunks of stuff that resembles lucky charms cereal and is very brightly colored. I brought the little guy home and found out he had extreme diarrhea and it was reddish orange. I knew from much previous experience that parakert poop looks like a little black and white ball that hardens and is easily cleaned up without staining things in the house while out of his cage. I shopped the stores and couldn’t find anything that didn’t have the lucky charms in it. I bought something and tried it with the same results. I shopped again only on Amazon that time. I found this very simple product that was merely 4 seeds that parakeets eat. Also in the food the pet stores offer there are always seeds and other components that the birds will leave in their containers and refuse to eat. My parakeet eats every single seed from this formula ands loves it! After beginning to eat this mixture, his diarrhea went away quickly, his cere turned blue and his feathers became brightly colored. His former family lost 2 other parakeets in the time between purchasing him with another one and replacing the other one when it died. The other bird died on Christmas day and the despairing boy decided he didn’t want to have birds anymore. I suspect that the frufru parakeet food killed the other 2 birds and my Pickles was fortunate or cussid enough to survive. Emphasis on cussid. I am so thankful to have found this product. It is lasting a good long time too.

The wild birds I feed (chickadees, juncos, thrushes) love this. I suggest you inspect the bag for leaks. No problems first time I ordered this but second time there were some loose seeds in the package when I opened it. Not a lot and the bag seemed fine so I didn’t think much of it. I put it in the back of the cupboard, standing upright. By the time I went to take it out though, what I assume had been a very tiny tear in the bag when I received it was now about an inch long. Needless to say I had a mess to clean up and it was too late to send it back. Something to watch for if you see loose seeds in the package.
