Great Product
My dog loves the taste. It is the right softness and size for my 19 pound Chipit dog. It is a good quality food and I love that it is Vegan, so no animals have been tortured or harmed in any way just to feed my dog.This food has all that our dogs need. I mix it with two tablespoons of Halo’s canned dog food just to please my dog. I also put a bit of this in with a can of Halo’s canned dog food for my neighbor’s dog five days each week and he loves it. I highly recommend Halo dog food, canned and dry.

Yes, yes, and yes!
Before I was paying the same amount of money for another brand of dog food that was making my dog sick and itchy. After trying virtually everything to figure out what the problem was, I came across a Reddit post that said to try vegetarian food. In the beginning, she did not eat it much – but now she loves it and eats it more than any other dog food Iâve bought her.This was a blessing to find this brand. I can visibly see my dog happier, healthier, and more agile. There is nothing worse than watching your dog suffer and not knowing why. This dog food ended her suffering.The only downside (for me) is that she poops more often. Which, is seemingly a good thing, but should consider adjusting walking times.

I FINALLY found a truly safe AND complete dog food!
After more than 4 years of ingesting this food, my small breed rescue pooch has made, AND maintained, a REMARKABLE recovery from being a 10 lb underweight malnourished, and otherwise health neglected being! I do feed him a rotation of other vegan foods as well. Variety’s of the utmost importance, for many reasons, including staving off developing allergies to any single food. Not only has this food proven to me to be safe and effective, providing all & more of the canine dietary essentials, it’s one of the very few dry foods that incorporates Selenium Yeast INSTEAD OF Sodium Selenite!!! Check those two out and compare, for your loved one’s safety/health!! I tend to soak kibble (in water that tests clear of detrimental contents) more than not, and mix in other beneficial ingredients — NOT simply rely on dry kibble bits day in and day out! That’d be torture on multiple levels, even for canines, who tend not to stop and chew most food, thus not generally taste it. (But aroma, that’s another thing!) My fur baby’s even spunkier, and with a sheeny shiney coat, moist cool nose, sparkly eyes…even more so now than when he was HALF his present age! I’d say this base nutrition has done a LOT to help GET him there AND KEEP him there!

Excellent quality
Whether your dog is vegan or not this is a high quality kibble with a lot of high quality ingredients, no byproducts or meat meals. We supplement with cooked food but I would feel comfortable with my dog eating just the kibble if that was the only option.

10/10 Best Product on the Market for Vegan Dog Kibble.
My dog has been on it for 8 years. He absolutely loves it, losing his mind during feeding time. He gets bloodwork done every 6 months since he started at age 4, and he passes them with flying colors. The fishy dog odor he used to have before switching over was gone after 5-8 days. Now that he is older, I just add a cup of water to his food to hydrate and soften his stools. He hasn’t had any diarrhea or general health issues of any kind in over 8 years since beginning this product.

The dog eats it and is doing well
It looks like a nice ingredients. No rice is good. No rancid fish fats. I personally haven’t sampled the kibble but my dog eats it and seems to be doing all right. She’s a 75 lb pitbull mix. I gave her a taste test between the Halo product and two other kibbles. She ate the Halo first and then of course ate all of them.

Pricey, but worth every cent
I switched my dogs to a vegan diet about 5 years (and 2 dogs) ago due to severe skin allergies. I’d never go back to a meat formula. They love the flavor and their skin and coats are beautiful. I adopt rescue dogs in distress so they often don’t arrive in very good health. My 8 year old shepherd/chow mix just had his annual exam and his health is perfect.
