Bright light
This is the second time I have ordered these lights for my cages I now have a total of 18 of them. My birds seem to be fine with them with winter months and me having small birds that can’t take below zero temps I needed something to give them light when they can’t be outside and these have worked great I love the timer they have also making it so I don’t have to turn the lights on and off. Great product..

Love these lights for our parrotâs cage! I mistakenly got one that can be daisy-chained but made do by improvising with a part from our last unit. She loves to sit underneath the light, especially morning/evening.

Provides proper LED full spectrum lighting
First, these are made by m&m cage company, and are sold at a fraction of the cost compared to the ones labeled m&m cage company. I purchased a 2pack of the 18â lights for my conures. Yes, you have to purchase a separate power source, no big deal, you only need one to power multiple lights. You have the option to place a timer in-line, I like the m&m timer that will gradually turn light up to full power, then slowly dim until off, less startling for the birds.Like the m&m full-spectrum LED strip lights, take note that neither happy bird or m&m market these as having UV benefits.I hope these lights help improve the lives of my birds, providing them adequate light in the dark dreary winter.

Let down
I have the longer version for my other bird so I got the smaller one for my smaller bird / cage. The longer light had a power adapter so I thought nothing of it. This one does NOT have an adapter. Additionally, no metal brackets to attach the light either like the other one had. Rather disappointing money grab on their end.Also, the downside to these lights .. you cannot select a brightness. It will turn on and slowly brighten to fill brightness. You cannot alter the lightings brightness at all.
