Purrfect for Big Disabled Cats!
I don’t normally leave reviews, but this is hands down my favorite thing I’ve ever bought and the only cat bed/box I would recommend!Summary if personal anecdotes aren’t your thing: it’s big but not obstructive, it’s comfortable, it’s fun, he loves it, and it’s the only thing on the market I’ve found that ever suited his needs so perfectly. 10/10 I’m buying like 3 more asap, thank you for saving his tail fluff from my chair wheels. The reason I’m so in love with it in particular, though:My “little” boy is a big fluffball we adopted after he got into an accident as a stray kitten that permanently busted his back leg, so it sticks straight out at all times and can’t bend (it healed this way by vet recommendation). In spite of his disability, he’s your typical zesty orange lad. He loves to run and chase things, he loves hiding in boxes, and his favorite sleeping position is stretched all the way out on his back with his paws in the air. In most ways, his leg isn’t an issue.Except, most cat trees/boxes just aren’t built for disabled cats like him, much less one of his size. He struggles to get into tight spaces if the opening is too small, and he can’t fully stretch out comfortably the way he likes even on larger cat trees. He’s not an unhealthy weight – mostly fluff when you squeeze him – but shopping for cat-like spaces he can enjoy is an exhaustive effort. Because he’s smart, most toys bore him easily, too, and I desperately needed one that he could have fun with on his own while I’m busy without getting sick of it.My main motivation for buying this in particular, though, is that I work at my desk a lot, and the spot behind my rolling chair is His Spot. Anytime I’m at my desk, he’s snuggled as close as he can get to my chair wheel – which, for a long haired cat, is Not Ideal, but he refuses to lay anywhere else when I’m there. I put down a cardboard box for him to lay in, and he loved that + it kept my chair wheels from tearing fur chunks out of his tail. He tore it up, though, and it was just a bit trashy/small still, so I wanted a proper, sturdy cat bed.Except, of course, he hates cat beds. It HAS to be a box, or he turns up his nose at it. I’ve looked for actual months trying to find one that fits him so he can have a nicer place to lay while I work. Honestly, I bought this mostly based on measurements alone – it was big enough, the opening looked big enough for him in review pictures that it’d be a bit of a tight fit at best, I was iffy on the stability but for the price it’d be fine if I had to replace it down the line.Oh, my god, I was not expecting how great this thing actually is. He wouldn’t even let me finish setting it up before he was diving inside of it no problem – his leg slips through just fine. He loves the sherpa (which is soft, not scratchy/unpleasant like I find most sherpa to be), but I laid down his favorite blanket on top so he’s got texture options and he wasted no time hopping up to stretch out on it. It’s made of cardboard, but good, thick cardboard that I can tell will hold up, even against his box-destroying tendancies. He might tear through the fabric eventually – it’s that semi-mesh you find on cube furniture drawers – but fabric is easy to patch and the boards themselves will hold up well for sure! The window on the side is perfectly cat-head-shaped for him to leer menacingly out of (he loves that lol), and I can turn around in my chair to wiggle my fingers in front of it for him to try and attack through the opening. The little dangle toy in the doorway is solid, too! I expected a cheap string that my other cat would cut in seconds (she has some kind of visceral hatred and/or joy for string, she destroys any we leave unattended as quickly as she can), but nope! It’s good quality elastic, soft on his teeth and strong enough he can tug at it no problem. He’s got big paws and a good grip, too – he’s pretty strong for a house cat, but he was going ham on that thing for a good 30 minutes still didn’t 1) get bored, or 2) break it. Double bonus!Overall, I can’t say enough how thankful I am to finally have something that makes my not-so-little orange son so happy. It gives him all the comfort, safety, and enrichment I’ve been looking for in a cat bed, with hardly any labor involved in setting it up, and without monopolizing too much space in my already cluttered apartment. Anyone considering it should buy it ASAP, it’s perfect!

Nearly Perfect, Including “Low” Ceiling Height
I saw several reviewers comment about the ceiling being a little too low, but this is a heated cat hut and the slightly lower ceiling is exactly what’s needed to help retain heat.My large cat almost fully stand up in it. He can definitely walk with just a slight crouch inside. Soon as he’s in, he sits all the way down to chill in the cozy warm and soft space or rolls around playing with the cat toy hanging in the door or with me using cat toys outside the windows. It’s wonderfully easy to setup, plenty sturdy, and just as easy to fold it up to travel with or store. It’s a non-issue, but I agree that, since two small window holes are used, it might be a slight improvement to place one window on each side instead of one of the windows being placed on the front where the door hole is. Having a window on either side would both let the power cord exit the unit on either side for maximum user flexibility and make cat play more dynamic and fun.Everything is of very good quality and design. Exceedingly pleased with the product and the price was fair for all that my cats and I got for the price.

Easy, sturdy, and nice
I love this because my cat loves this, and she is not the kind to usually partake in things meant for cats. It was easy to put together, and I love the functionality of it. The zipper under the top is ideal for easy access to the inside for cleaning or adding extra blankets. Despite the lack of cushion, my cat prefers this to her other home, so I assume the way it is enclosed provides enough warmth to satisfy her. My cat is 8.8 pounds and 19 years old with arthritis. She can get in and out just fine, I tore off the ball, and she can jump on it without help. For those of you who have larger cats, donât let her weight fool you, she use to be double digits (I donât mean fat looking either), so despite appearances, she is a good size. This seems long enough to accommodate larger cats. For her current weight though, this has good support. I have not noticed any odors. Overall, she seems to enjoy it, and I am just looking for things to promote happiness and health in her old age, so this purchase was a win and the price is decent.

Spacious But Restrictive
I really love the folding design of this indoor cat house. The support pieces are easily removed for cleaning, and the boards are strong enough that I believe my 15-pound cat would be fine sitting on top of it, should he choose to do so. (Cats being cats, he hates new things so probably won’t explore it for another year, at which point he’ll fall in love with it.)I dislike the placement of the little window holes. There’s one on the right side of the house, and one on the front (right next to the wide open door opening). That front window is extremely redundant, since if my cat wants to see out of the front… he’ll just stick his head out of the front door. This is a bit like when a person installs a big pet door for the mother cat and a little one for the kittens, then realizes the kittens just follow the mother in through her door. It would’ve been better to put a window on the left and right sides of the house. The current setup means you must find somewhere that doesn’t obstruct the right… if the only place you can put the cat house is in a right hand corner, then that right side window is wasted by an obstruction. Window placements on both sides of the product would’ve alleviated this inconvenient format (even if one window is blocked, the other could still be open).I do recommend the product, despite disagreeing with the aperture arrangement.

Kitten loves it!
So easy to put together and a good size. My kitten loves the ball and he goes inside sometimes but my older cat only lays on top because it doesn’t have an escape route probably. Knowing her I should have bought one with a way in and a way out so she didn’t feel trapped. But the product is good and sturdy and I recommend for sure.

Good size for 2 kittens or 1 adult cat. Too small to house 2 adult cats. The âroofâ is also extremely low⦠your cat wonât be able to sit in it, only lying down would work. Would give it more stars if it didnât smell so bad. Very strong chemical smell. Iâm soaking this in the bath right now to wash off all the chemicals they must have sprayed the fabric with. I wouldnât want my cat to touch or breathe in this.

First thing that caught my attention is the design so I went to the reviews and had never seen so many 5 star ratings! While my cats {very different in size and weight} immediately purred their approval, I was caught by the design. It looks smart, blends in nicely with my furniture, doesn’t look out of place with it’s quiet upholstered look. Very easy to move when vacuuming. I bought 2 houses, 1 for living room and 1 for bedroom, they curl, sprawl and look out the windows to keep an eye on life. Great buy.

Easiest cat tree like thing Iâve ever put together. Really smart design and they loved it immediately. I just counted 4 cats using it somehow. I may have to buy a couple more for different areas of the house.
