Not the best out there but it works
When I got this, it showed a darker version in the photos and said itâs made of twine rope. However, it showed up looking exactly like this other one which says itâs made of cotton rope.I removed one star for this confusion and the fact that the braid is not as tight and good as the other version. I removed one more star on this one, just like I did on the other one, for the smell. However, Iâm super sensitive to smells, so this might be fine for you. While both the plastic and the rope smell, the rope might smell from being against the plastic, and perhaps it can be washed if it bothers you, but Iâm not sure.That being said, it does what it claims to do and provides a nice climbing rope.

Hermit crabs love it
My crabs were so all about checking this out when I put it in the tank. So far the suction cups have been holding up!
