Keeps my crabs busy!
Was kinda skeptical that the crabs would even use it. Was wrong! They love the wheel and would be on it for hours! Keeps them moving! Size was just perfect, and does not make any noise at all when they are using it.

This is amazing
My crab is a big boy. Like he is huge and I thought he wouldnât fit in the wheel. But he loves to exercise and run on his wheel. Though he is extremely shy about his workouts and runs off whenever I try to take a photo. None the less I see that he uses it often. Great for a hermit crab that loves to climb on the ceiling.

Love the wheel but potentially toxic?
My hermit crabs LOVE this wheel! I have medium sized hermit crabs that are slighly on the larger size. I ordered the “large” size of this wheel and it fits them perfectly! They like to hang outside of it, on top of it, underneath it, etc. My only concern with this product is the use of a stainless steel bearing. Stainless steel is usually coated in chromium, which can be toxic to hermit crabs if traces of it come off onto their exoskeleton.
Originally, I wasn’t super concerned about this because the bearing is on the bottom of the wheel(where they won’t be climbing on), and is also nowhere near water, which means the chances of the chromium dissolving off of it is low. However, my hermit crab decided that her new sleeping place is right underneath the wheel, directly under that steel bearing. To err on the side of caution, I decided to glue a clean plastic bottle cap on top of the steel bearing using aquarium based silicone which is safe for hermit crabs. Now the bearing isn’t able to touch them, and they can still use the wheel like they used to.
Overall, my hermit crabs still love and use this wheel a lot. However, if you are someone who is concerned about keeping up with your crab’s health, I would suggest researching the impacts of stainless steel in their environment and come to your own conclusions.

I was skeptical about purchasing this as l wasnât too sure if my hermit crabs would be comfortable using this. As Iâve saved them from a very tiny and none active tank with hardly anything to climb on or play with. But all of my hermit crabs absolutely love this cute wheel! I bought the small wheel in clear & black. Definitely a great size for small crabs however my big crabs seem to enjoy it comfortably. As they grow l would get a bigger wheel eventually. It moves smoothly for the hermit crabs and assembling the wheel is easy so l definitely recommend this product to everyone. Plus extremely quick delivery and professional care taken to protect my delivery when I wasnât home. 🙂

I wasn’t sure my hermies would use this, but they LOVE it! They climb into this every night and spend a good amount of time going for “walks”. This is a great addition to their home, great way for them to get some exercise. Highly recommend!
