My birds like and are exremely healthy
I’ve tried every commercial birdseed out there at one time or another. Unless you have a truly top notch exotic bird shop nearby who offers a fresh mix of their own, this product is a great choice. I like the ingredients and the birds like to eat it. Other products don’t seem to appeal to my birds as much. They will eat, but they pick over it and leave a lot. The Higgins Safflower Gold is the one they like the most. It smells good to me. I have lovebirds and conures, and a cockatiel. My conure knows when this package arrives because she can hear it when we carry it in the house. She gets happy. That’s important. She is an extremely healthy bird.

Good Quality Food
My Sun Conure loves this food and it seems to be a good mix of the nutrition he needs. Every time I give him a fresh bowl of this food he goes right for the bowl and god forbid when I have to take it out to clean he goes ballistic. The only downside is that the bag is not full but overall the quality is good.

Stops Seed Throwing
I tried this food bc of how many people said it stopped seed throwing. I have two young Green Cheeks, and I was sceptical but after a week of weening them onto it, there are no thrown seeds. Only cracked shells inside their cage. They truly don’t throw this stuff around. Customer for life.

This food has dried fruits, vegetables, and nuts in it, and it smells so nice when you open the bag! My birds will not eat freshly cut fruits or vegetables, so I just feel glad to be able to get something besides seeds in their diet. Buying it this way is much less expensive than it would be in pet stores, and they don’t even always have it in stock. This is the way to go.

Love this blend. My cockatiels love it. They pick and choose/waste a bunch of other brands of seeds but they eat all of this one. Super healthy compared to other brands full of sunflower and millet. Recommended from my bird pages and couldn’t be happier. Been using for months now. Only complaint is being Canadian its harder to find (outside of Amazon) and it seems to be pricey compared to other places (ex: USA). Totally worth it though. Its my #1 choice.
