Best Betta Food on the Market!!!
I have used this Betta food exclusively and always have great success with bettas. They live 3-4+ years and seem very healthy. (And I use little 1/2 gallon tanks with no heaters or filters! Not ideal, I know, but I do frequent water changes.)My favorite things about the food are: 1) the pellets are very small and easy to eat, even for young bettas (most betta pellets are way too big), and 2) the pellets ALWAYS float. Even if they get bumped, almost eaten, etc. and go below the surface of the water, they pop back up to the top and eventually get eaten. The pellets have to be in the water for a long time to actually sink, and that hardly EVER happens.I feed my bettas several times per day, but only a few pellets at a time. (3-6 pellets per feeding.) I also supplement with dried blood worms and other freeze-dried betta treats. And in the summer, any fruit flies I catch in the kitchen become live betta food, which they gobble right up.I actually love the packaging. The food stands nicely right next to the tank, and it is super-easy to dispense just a few pellets, and put extras back in if I get out too many. I don’t know what a few people are complaining about, regarding the packaging. It is a great design.I have had such good results with this food that when my local PetSmart didn’t seem to carry it any more, I ordered it from amazon. Got it in two days. I will never switch and will continue to feed the Hikari Betta Bio-Gold. Highly recommended.

Superior Fish Food
I am an avid fish keeper. I recently purchased a Betta for my office at work, and the ONLY food I could find in the Pet store was Tetra Betta. The first ingredient in this food is wheat, followed by gluten. In fact, Fish Meal is the SEVENTH ingredient!!! This is what you are buying when you pick up fish food from big box stores. This is absolutely unacceptable! You will be left with a sad, dull looking Betta. Now lets take a look at Hikari (I also use New Life Spectrum. Hikari is notorious in the fish world for having superior food than other leading brands. Yes, it is slightly more expensive, but fish meal is the FIRST ingredient listed. This makes a HUGE difference in fish nutrition. As a result, you will be left with a more vibrant, happy, healthy, and active fish friend. The pellets are also a lot smaller and easier to eat. Bettas are able to swallow the food whole instead of spitting it back up, which leads to less waste at the bottom of the tank (ie, less ammonia spikes, less risk of death/disease). They are also suitable for fry/smaller betas. My betta also prefers the taste over other brands. This is the steak of fish food, tetra being a slice of white bread.I uploaded a picture of the ingredients, as well as a side by side of the food (larger pellet is tetra)

Great food that all my bettas love!
I have three Betta fish. I love them dearly, but I couldn’t get them to all eat the same food. My red half moon guy was super tiny when I got him. All my betta food that I had was too big for him. My dragon scale guy is huge. He is super picky and only sort of liked one type, which happened to be bigger pellets. My other guy, he’s had issues from day 1. He has a chronic float disease problem, and everything I tried made him worse. Then I discovered this. Finally, one food they all can eat!! My little guy loves it, and grew up beautifully! Big round red fins, great color. By big guy, picky as he is, loves this, too. His color improved as well. My poor sick guy, he loves this food, too. He eats this along with pieces of frozen peas that I hand feed to him. The peas with this food saved his life. Now he can swim around where before he could only float near the surface sideways. All the other foods I tried for him made him constipated, which I didn’t realize was a thing for fish. But with this food and the peas, he can get the nutrients he needs and is thriving. I am super happy to have found a quality food that everyone loves.

By Far, the Best Betta Pellet Food, Highly Recommend
I have owned betta fish for 3 years, and have always had trouble keeping their constipation low. I own several varieties of fish food that I rotate regularly, in order to let my betta receive all of the necessary nutrients he needs. My last betta fish unfortunately passed away due to severe bloating and refusal to eat. I tried everything (even peas) to help his problem, but ultimately the constipation got the best of him. The pellets I would feed him 3 times a week (2 in the morning, 2 at night) were relatively small, but are what I believe to be the culprit of this issue. I got a new betta fish, and started to feed him less, which has been working out well, but I still am hesitant to feed him the other pellets that induce constipation so easily. These pellets, from what I saw on Amazon, got the best reviews, and I decided to give them a try. When I received the pellets, I was surprised and happy about how small they were. My betta fish eats these up faster than any of the other food I feed him. I have been feeding my betta fish these for a while now, and he has not had any constipation problems, and his colors are more vibrant than ever! I highly recommend these pellets for betta fish, as mine is more energetic, and very healthy looking from eating these.

Perfect for betta that canât eat large pellets
My better appreciates these pellets! He cannot eat the standard size pellets, these are smaller and he gobbles them up!!! Thank you ð

Best food because of small size and keeps afloat – little more expensive than competition
– much smaller size than Aqueon and Tetra betta pellets- float nicely even after soaking them a few minutes in aquarium water before feeding so they aren’t so crunchy for fish – this is important as betta may not seek food at bottom of tank- more expensive for weight of food purchased but worth it- don’t be discouraged if betta won’t eat this right away – they are notoriously picky eaters and may prefer whatever pet store has been feeding them so you may need to transition from those pellets to this one- main gripe is the packaging – its open to air so food is less fresh over time- I try to feed about 6 pellets/day

Tolles Futter, nicht ganz preiswert, aber sehr ergiebig. Wird von meinen Bettas sehr gut angenommen.

These little pellets are just the right size and they stay floating for a good long while so Benjamin Bubbles can easily locate them. He eats them readily and seems quite happy with them. I did a bit of google searching to make sure I was purchasing the best I could for the little guy, and these seem to be perfect. I appreciate the packaging as well, it makes it easy to carefully distribute the food without making a mess.
