Great heaters! I bought two! ACCURATE!
Instead of one big heater, I bought two 300 watt heaters for my 75 gallon aquarium.I have them both set at 74 degrees. I have verified their accuracy with several different types of thermometers.Our room temp is 65 degrees during the cool / cold months.Between the two heaters it seems that they are hardly working. The green lights mean that they are not actively heating. When they are heating there is a red light instead of green.Running two smaller heaters rather than one big one is good because I have a backup. Plus, neither one is taxed with the job of doing it all by just one heater.So far the heaters are working superbly. Staying right where they should be.I really like the visibility of the controllers. They are easy to operate and set.I also like the fact that the heaters themselves are black. They just blend right in.Also, these heaters have a three prong grounded plug and the cords are heavy gauge.I do not understand why some heaters are made without the ground plug.I am 110% satisfied with these heaters!

Works great with larger tanks
This product works pretty good with 100 gallon aquarium. I am very pleased with it. Easy to install and I like it keeps up with the temperature in the water. I also like the digital display.

Have had this 8 months now no regrets yet.
So straight to the only negative i have the temperature on the device is a little off or my 2 thermostats are off idk(most heater temp sets are not accurate which is why you should always have a extra thermostat in your tanks) either way when i set the heater to 76 the thermostats read 78 in the tank so i set it and left it. It seems to keep the 10 gallon temps steady ive not seen its temp change not even by .1 degreese on my thermostats while my other tank with a different heater. usually drops by .1 or .2 before the heater kicks on then it goes above temp by .1 and sits there for a while before it kicks on again i will probably be getting me at least a 2nd one of these heaters and if i set up anymore tanks in the future.

Perfect for the job
If you size the correct heater to your aquarium this will do the job. It’s pretty accurate when it comes to heating the aquarium and it’s very easy to use. I’ve been using it since the day I’ve opened it and it’s still working to this day, happy.

Amazing heater for 15-20 gallon tank, I had tried other brands and broke in one day but this heater was worth the price it says the temperature of the water and lets you choose what temp you want. This heater is consistent and has been perfect so far.

I have purchased this to a place a smaller unit which I got from the local pet store, which was not emitting above 74° of temperature. However, this unit was able to bring up my turtle tank water to a nice balmy 80° as expected through the settings on the thermometer.

Works well and appears to be durable.
Love the build of the unit, it seems to be durable and well constructed. Impressive feature for automatic shut down when taken out of the water. Also like that there is no real possibility of damaging the glass or the element but knocking it on something. The only thing detracting from a 5 star rating is the temperature calibration is not accurate. I have set it to Celsius and try to keep my tank at 28°C. To do that i need to set the unit to 30°C. To confirm this, I have three thermometers located around the tank that all give exactly the same reading. Two are glass mercury thermometers and one is a digital thermometer. The good thing is that although the heater’s thermostat is off by a few degrees, it is consistent. It does not fluctuate.
