Customers say
Customers find the air pump works well and provides good airflow, making it perfect for small tanks like 10-gallon fish tanks. They consider it a great buy for the price and appreciate its compact size. The noise level and build quality receive mixed feedback – while some find it quiet and report it going strong, others find it noisy and report it breaking after two months. The tube attachment is problematic, with customers reporting it keeps coming off, and the included accessories are also mixed in quality.

Calm water
Works beautifully for my 5 gallon betta tank. Watched a video of how to add the air stone to a sponge filter and will be slowly making the change to just the sponge filter and doing away with our hang on filter. The water is so much calmer which makes our betta happier.

Very small size
It works and it is pretty quite, better than some others that I have owned in the past. It’s not silent, but not loud more like a soft buzz, typical of a small air pump. The unit is very compact and has everything included to have a safe and proper setup right out of the box. Pumps well, plenty of bubbles, controllable with the included valve. Great bargain for a user ready aquarium pump.

Reduced flow after two months or less
This product is a great price. I have bought four of these. They work well for a month or two but then the flow always slows down to a point where it barely makes any bubbles and I have to replace it. Is there some way I’m supposed to clean the pump from the dust that could be clogging it? I can’t see any spot where the air would come from. I would appreciate it if the seller could message me to help.(Update)The seller was very kind and helpful and offered a refund and said they will be accountable for their products. The issue with the pump could not be easily fixed sadly. So I will be trying a different one from this business. Thanks for the help!

The best air pump I’ve used for my 10gallon tank. Whisper quiet compared to others
I had a tiny 5-10gallon air pump for my 20gallon tank. To be fair it worked but eventually broke.I had a couple of old pumps almost 20 years old and they worked. However, they were very very loud. I had to place them on top of thick foam and it still drove me nuts but eventually I got used to it.I was making an order and I just ordered a cheap one based off reviews. I didn’t need an ultra powerful air pump. just something strong enough for at least 10 gallons and most importantly, quiet. As soon as I powered up the pump i thought it was broken. Nope it was working perfectly fine and it’s powerful. I would say it’s a tad bit on the strong side for a 10gallon. Way too much if your fish needs calm waters. The rubber feet are designed very well and are extremely soft. It really is silent. I still put it on top of my foam though.Amazing piece of kit. Comes with everything you need. The only question is, how long will it last?other than that don’t hesitate to purchase!

Unreliable.
These are poor quality pumps that stop working within a few months. I like the tubing and airstone that comes with it but that’s it. It’s no quieter than some of the other competitors but markedly more unreliable. I own the single and double prong ones and they’ve all stopped pumping air. Not great to have to wake up the next morning to realize your air pump died.

Works as expected
Been in use 1 week for my minnows in the garage that averages 30°F this past month. So far, working well.

Tube doesnt stay connected to air pump no matter what i try
Its very quiet and does the job but the tub constantly just falls off the front of the air pump. Ive tried taping it on and it still happens multiple times a day. I wouldnt get this if you have a fish that needs constant air flow. Unless you are home all day your fish will not have a running filter or air flow. Oh and the suction cup falls off unless it is submerged under water.

Edit: Still running well, but there’s a yellow discoloration where the machine connects to the tube. IDK what that’s about, but seems fairly harmless right now. It’s quiet and powerful, a bit over powered for my 5 gallon so I use the control valve to put it on min. flow which is what you see in the pics. Set up was simple and all the included parts were there. My water snail loves it, climbs right on it, hangs out above for a bubble spa (at least that’s what we think). Only downsides are a) the vibration from the pump causes it to move about a bit and create noise -fixed with some rubber/foam shelf liner beneath, and b) the stone seems to have a poor seal near the tube fixture so bubbles escape -no biggie, I plan to get a different stone eventually anyways and they’re cheap. Overall, definitely recommend. Will update in the future when/if it has an issue but so far so good ð

Edit: despite being 6 months since I purchased, the seller reached out and offered a refund so I could buy a replacement. Much appreciated and made me feel better about my transaction.Purchased bought in January and itâs just died. Motor still hums but no air comes out. Itâs such a simple device itâs a shame it only lasts 6 months.

Purchased end of June and came home last week to see it no longer pumping air through my air stone (lasted around 2 months). Tried new air stones and tubing with no improvement. Other pumps work fine on same stones and tubing. Like others have said, the issue seems to be that it loses the ability to produce enough pressure to get the air through a submerged air stone. When it was running it would get decently warm so I also made sure to keep it well ventilated. It also runs loud.I think the best thing about this kit is actually flow adjustment valve. It seems to be much higher quality than others found here on Amazon.I wouldn’t buy again since quick failures seem to be common.

Very solid pump. Great for Bettas as has flow adjustment valve. A bit noisy but only when something is touching it (like cable, etc.) but overall has very acceptable noise level. Tubing without any issue and is long enough.
