Customers say
Customers find the garden shear scissors easy to use and effective for trimming. They work well for trimming goats’ hooves, snipping back vines, and brambles. The product quality is good, though some have issues with dullness. There are mixed opinions on sharpness, build quality, value for money, and how comfortable the scissors are to hold.

Trimmers are sharp!
I really like these trimmers Ive used them on 6 goats so far. They have not dulled down and are very sturdy for hard hooves. I really like the locking handles for storing them. The trimmers were exactly how advertised. Easy to use but they are very sharp to only make small cuts at a time.

Cheaper price but still great quality
These are a cheaper version of the hoof trimmers I usually get, so i had very low expectations. Figured they’d get stuck, the spring would come off, they’d get dull fast, and just be a pain to work with. I was very wrong! These are just as nice and quality as the more expensive ones. They stay sharp for quite a while (i do 60 goat’s hooves quarterly – it worked for doing over half of them before I swapped trimmers, not for any reason besides they look the same as my others lol), they cut very nicely, the spring stays in place well despite my abuse of them, and they are easy to handle.

Great deal for the price
Very sharp so far, will see how long they last with a herd of over 30 goats. I don’t prefer the grip on them, as I normally use Producer’s Pride, but these are 1/3 of the price so much more economical and will get the job done for sure. My only real complaint is that sometimes when I make the cut on the hoof, the trimmers go back into a lock position automatically. Not necessarily a bad thing and could be viewed as a safety feature I suppose, but it makes you have to unlock to make the next cut when this happens, so it can get a tad frustrating.

Doesn’t come with a farmer to trim hooves
Well the product seems fabulous. I haven’t used it yet because I’m afraid I might hurt my goat. If the trimmer came with a real person to help me trim my goats hooves for the first time that would be phenomenal. I will still give it 5 stars hoping it will work when I find someone to help me. ð

Sharp and got the job done!
I normally donât write reviews unless something is great or very disappointing. These hoove trimmers are amazing. They are sharp and very heavy duty. So far I have done 10 of our goats and they are still as sharp as I first took them out of the package. They are definitely worth the ten dollars they have them priced at.

These get the job done
These trimmers get the job done, but are not built for longevity in my opinion. These are good value for the money. I do not like the spring because it keeps falling out. Weâve already lost one spring after trimming five sheep. I would not recommend getting these. Find yourself something sturdier which will probably cost my money but worth it in a long run

Great product! Nice, sharp, and spring load makes them easy to use. Orange makes them easier to find if you need to set them down.Less expensive than our local farm store. Would definitely buy these again if I need an extra set.
