Vitamins and minerals make up a small part of the horse’s diet but are essential to providing a balanced nutritional foundation for overall health. Although most of a horse’s dietary needs can be met by feeding a good quality forage, there are a number of situations in which a horse can benefit from a vitamin/mineral supplement such as young, growing horses, broodmares, debilitated horses, senior horses, and performance horses. Red blood cells deliver oxygen to cells and remove carbon dioxide. This oxygen supply is critical for the performance horse during aerobic exercise and recovery. Red Cell Vitamin-Iron-Mineral Supplement provides important vitamins and minerals that may be lacking in the diet. Contains 300 mg. of iron per ounce to help maintain normal blood cell health, energy, and performance demands. Plus B-complex vitamins support metabolism and a healthy immune system. This palatable, yucca-flavored, liquid feed supplement is ideal for horses of all ages, disciplines, and workloads. Make sure your horse is getting the nutrition he needs to look, feel and perform his best.

Great for down goats
Weâve used this several times for goats that have low energy level and need a boost. They seem to like the taste, and you get a big container that is a good value for the money.

Red cell
Great product. Worked great on my goat and helped her regain strength. She hated the taste so I would recommend trying to camouflage it or give it straight from the syringe far in the back of mouth.

Great to restore horse health
This is the second time I have used this product. This time is to add nutrients to a rescue horse. Along with worming and Sand Clear my rescue horse is putting on weight in just a week and a half. Clean water and good hay are also important in bringing back a neglected horse. Just add to feed (pellets) at feeding once a day. I use it in the morning feeding.

best product for iron supplement
I know this product is actually made for horses, but I used small amounts to supplement iron for a rescue cat. It worked fast and saved this animals life. She was severely anemic from a heavy flea infestation and I had to act fast..cat is recovering nicely thanks to this product.

GOATS…GOATS…GOATS….
Give 4cc to 6cc oral Red Cell for horses to larger goat (80 to 100 lbs) typically 6cc for every 100 lb weight. Goats don’t really like the taste so give it first then we follow that with the following mixture: 3 heaping Tablespoons of unsweetened applesauce mixed with 1 scoop of Goats Prefer Probiotic Power until powder dissolves in applesauce then add 1 Tablespoon white corn syrup into the applesauce until it is mixed in. Load a 30cc or larger syringe with the applesauce and after giving the small amount of Red Cell give the applesauce slowly into the mouth so not to choke the goat. Most goats love the sweet applesauce. Do this every morning. It will give the goat quicker energy and much of what it needs to get stronger. We almost lost our favorite Boer goat she was down for a few days and this along with antibiotic injections brought her back. She is eating again and walking around and seems to be getting stronger each day. Keep these products on hand they are life savers. We have 43 Kiko and Boer Goats.

Helped with an anemic goat
On my vet’s recommendation I tried this product on an old pet dairy goat who was anemic from blood loss. First of all, it must be palatable as I had no problem getting her to take it, in a dose adjusted for a goat. After using it for over a month, she looks better, feels better and is getting color back in her gums. I wish I had tried/used this product as a supplement on other goats I have treated for one ailment or another. By the way, important to use the Red Cell for horses, not the one formulated for dogs.

Wow! I cannot get near my horse a second time. The smell is intense! Smells like blood and my horse startles and gags for an hour after a syringe full. Mix with feed? No way .. reading a review for goats I will try mixing it with Apple sauce maybe…??

apples and carrots.
We had good intention but no positive
