Heavy Duty and Dependable

Love Love LOVE!!
These are outstanding! Bought a new horse and he pulled back. This spooked my mare and she pulled back. Kept happening. I bought these and it was instant success! Horse pulls back, it slowly releases allowing you to get to horse to bring back forward. I put in barn, tie rail, on horse trailer (they just clip on the side and easily removed for travel). They no longer pull back but I use them anyway just in case. Super easy to attach lead rope! I didnât use hook screws. I attached to hooks with baling twine so twine would break if they flipped over. Hasnât happened since Iâve started using but Iâm gun shy. Better safe than sorry.

Easy to use
We have a young horse that gets nervous occasionally and we were getting really worried about the tie we were using. She would pull back and I always feel like she is going to hurt herself. A friend of mine suggested this horse ring and what a difference. She is so calm and I feel more safe using it. It’s really easy to install to a post or to our horse trailer. Tying the lead rope was extremely easy as well. It fits all horse lead ropes, different halter, cross ties and high lines for your horse. All accessories are made with good quality, I fell like it will last me a long time. I would recommend this. Our horse is so much calmer now.

Beware of the Quick Snap Carabiner
Beware! This Tie-Ring does work. However, ensure that your horse cannot rub his or her face and halter/headstall on or near the supplied Quick-Snap carabiner. Mount the tie-ring assembly up high enough to avoid this situation. I used an exact duplicate version of this rig (Blocker Tie-ring) with the Quick-Snap carabiner and mounted it down low as shown in the picture and the video. My horse rubbed his face on the tie-ring assembly and hooked his halter onto the Quick-Snap carabiner. (With horses, I always say, âIf it can happen, it will happen.â I then try to plan accordingly.) Needless to say, my horse tried to pull back and a dangerous tug-of-war ensued. I always carry a knife while around horses and ended up cutting the halter to free my horse. If you need to use this tie-ring assembly down low, use a Bow Shackle or a Screw Gate carabiner instead of the supplied Quick-Snap carabiner so that there is nothing to hook anything onto. Throw the Quick-Snap carabiner carabiners away or use them to secure a gate or something. And if youâre the type that leaves a halter on your horse while theyâre roaming around in their turnout, always use a break-away halter.

Keeps the beast stayed put
I’ve been using this for several months now and it’s very sturdy. Very easy to loop the rope around on it. We’ve had a pull back or two and it makes a big difference, no more bunched up or knotted lead ropes. It’s held up great. The clip is nice and versatile so I can use it in multiple places like in the barn and on the side of the trailer. I’ll probably buy another one just to keep in the trailer.
